APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING A CUTTING GEOMETRY IN A CLOSURE CAP FOR A CONTAINER
The invention relates to a method for producing a cutting geometry running in the circumferential direction, in particular for producing a locking ring, in a shell of a closure cap for a container, comprising the steps of providing the closure cap and transporting the closure cap by means of a transport device along a transport path. The closure cap is fed to a machining section of the transport path, in which machining section a stationary cutter having a cutting blade extending along a cutting section is arranged, and a cutting process is carried out in the machining section by rolling of the shell on the cutting blade of the stationary cutter to produce the cutting geometry. The closure cap is fed to the machining section with a predeterminable orientation of a rotational position relative to a centre axis of the closure cap, and a driver of the transport device which rotates about an axis of rotation is made to engage with a stop of the closure cap and a movement of the rotating driver is controlled in such a way that, when the closure cap enters the machining section, the driver has a rotated position corresponding to the predeterminable orientation of the closure cap. The invention further relates to an apparatus for carrying out the method.

An objective of the present invention is to provide users with an apparatus, that can cut and seal a sandwich in multiple shapes. It is an aim of the present invention to provide a sandwich maker that comprises a semi-transparent or transparent material, which enables users to see and monitor the sandwich, as the crusts of the bread are being cut and the sandwich sealed. Further, the present invention comprises multiple pieces and shapes that serve specific purposes, the functions of which may be performed mutually exclusively. Furthermore, the sealing piece of the present invention has an oblique inner surface, that compresses the upper piece of the sandwich compactly, without creating any cracks or spillage of the filling. Thus, the present invention enables users to have a perfectly sealed, spill proof, and aesthetically appealing sandwich with a slight dome shape.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR SEPARATING BLANKS
A method for separating blanks includes continuous conveying of a sheet metal strip in a transport direction to a laser cutting station, concurrent cutting of the sheet metal strip by at least one cutting laser, wherein a cut sheet metal strip is formed from successive sections of the same cutting geometry, transporting the cut sheet metal strip on a first conveyor belt in the transport direction, taking over the cut sheet metal strip from the first conveyor belt, transporting the cut sheet metal strip in the transport direction, separately ejecting the at least one residual blank of each section, transporting the at least one blank of each section into overlap with a second conveyor belt and ejecting the at least one blank from the suction conveyor, and transporting the blanks ejected one after the other from the suction conveyor horizontally in the transport direction to a collecting station.

A modular tooling die for an axle housing includes a plurality of separable and coaxially aligned die sets. Each die set may include a cam driver that is engageable with first and second cam slide assemblies. In certain embodiments, a system is provided for the efficient removal of an old grip from a fishing pole while maintaining the integrity of the pole. The system can include a removal portion including one or more rotational assemblies that rotate one or more grinding members. The grinding members can include a rotational blade with a centering rod. The rotational assembly can remove the old grip while maintaining the integrity of the rod within. The system can include multiple sets of grinding members that are organized for efficient identification or may include adjustable grinding members that can be configured for specific rods. The system can further include a guide to help identify particular grinding members for use with particular fishing poles.
CUTTING APPARATUS AND METHOD
In a cutting apparatus a rotating carousel conveys caps made of synthetic plastic material to a fixed blade having the shape of a circumferential arc. The caps are rotated about themselves by spindles. The blade cuts an annular weakening line to form the tamperproof ring of the cap. The carousel has an emitter and a laser receiver that cooperate to detect the presence or absence of the cutting edge of the fixed blade. The apparatus ensures good cutting quality.

The invention relates to a device for cutting a base web with a separating device as well as a corresponding method, where the separating device can cut a base web into individual bases which can be guided under a fresh product. The separating device comprises a knife device and a counter cutting device, each of which comprise at least two cutting edges. The knife device and/or the counter cutting devices can be moved to and fro in two directions.
