NOTCHING TOOL, USE AND METHOD
A notching tool for notching a workpiece, the notching tool having a notching punch and a die having an inner surface. The notching punch includes first and second punch portions, the first punch portion has a punch plane intended to hit the workpiece in a notching operation. The second punch portion protrudes from the punch plane in a direction which is substantially perpendicular to the punch plane, and is intended to contact the inner surface of the die when the notching punch hits the workpiece. The disclosure further provides a use of this notching tool and a method of notching which involves the operation of such a notching tool.

Dual box slotter
Arrangement for cutting notches in box blanks fed along a feeding direction. A feeding portion feeds box blanks. At least a first-fourth cutting devices along the feeding direction. The first is arranged most upstream and the fourth is arranged most downstream. Each device includes: a first wheel rotating around a first axis transverse to the feeding direction, the first wheel being on a first side of the blanks; a second wheel rotating around a second axis extending transverse to the feeding direction parallel to the first axis, the second wheel being in the same plane as the first wheel on an opposite side of the blank; and a cutting element cutting notches. The cutting element extends from either the first or the second wheel towards the other. A control unit controls the operation of the first-fourth devices for different operation combinations.
Electrical cable assembly, method and apparatus for making same and electrical terminal for same
A method of forming an electrical cable assembly includes providing a multiconductor flat cable comprising wires arranged in a coplanar fashion with each other and encased within a planar dielectric structure, cutting a slot in the planar dielectric structure intermediate the wires, thereby forming wing features in the dielectric structure extending from the wires, removing portions of the dielectric structure from ends of the wires, wherein portions of wing features remain, attaching the exposed wires to terminals, wherein the terminals define prongs, and attaching the portions of the wing features to by inserting the prongs within holes defined in the portions of the wing features, thereby retaining the wires to the terminals.
