A device for inhibiting rotational motion of an article to be processed comprises a pressure plate assembly including a generally ring-shaped guide assembly. The guide assembly has and at least two guide pins extending from a first side in a transverse direction. The guide assembly further includes at least two resilient devices positioned over a respective one of the at least two guide pins and a container guide having an aperture for receiving an open end of a container moving in a first direction and for aligning the open end with a processing device. The container guide is positioned adjacent to the first side of the pressure plate assembly. At least two resilient devices are configured to be compressed in response to movement of the container guide in a first direction and are configured to decompress in response to movement of the container guide in a second, generally opposite direction.

A tube cutter includes a main device, a blade and a controller. The main device includes a fixed member and a movable member, wherein the movable member is movably connected to the fixed member, and a cutting space is formed between the fixed member and the movable member. The blade is fixed to the main device, and the blade has a blade portion in the cutting space. The controller, which is provided on the main device, can be operated to move the movable member for changing a size of the cutting space.

A peeling apparatus for at least partially removing an external circumferential surface of an approximately cylindrical body is provided. An apparatus for cutting pipes made of plastic material in automatic cutter machines, including a tool for cutting pipes made of plastic material, a first rocker arm supporting the cutting tool, movable between a non-operating configuration at which the tool is disengaged from the pipe and an operating configuration wherein the tool is designed to exert its cutting action on the pipe, a second arm, for controlling the first arm, operatively connected to the first arm for moving it at least between its non-operating and operating configurations, the second arm comprising a first electric actuator and a supporting body slidably connected for modifying its reciprocal position between a close position and a spaced-apart position.

A tube cutter includes a main device, a blade and a controller. The main device includes a fixed member and a movable member, wherein the movable member is movably connected to the fixed member, and a cutting space is formed between the fixed member and the movable member. The blade is fixed to the main device, and the blade has a blade portion in the cutting space. The controller, which is provided on the main device, can be operated to move the movable member for changing a size of the cutting space.

A flex adapter for a stripping tool for treating plastic pipes or pipes coated with plastic, comprising a base body, at least two fins with respective sops. The fins are flexibly designed such that an outer radial load on the stops produces an opposing spring force; the fins are present in the rear region of the base body. The flex adapter according to the invention further comprises tensioning elements that are arranged integrally in the front region on the base body.

The invention concerns a cutting device (1) for reducing the width of a ready-made roller blind blank (28) comprising a roller tube onto which a fabric has been wound. The cutting device (1) comprises a mandrel (13), which is adapted to be inserted into and hold an end to be cut of the roller tube, and a knife arrangement, which is adapted to circumferentially cut first the fabric wound on the roller tube and then the roller tube on the mandrel (13) such that the width of the ready-made roller blind blank (28) is reduced. The invention also concerns a ready-made roller blind blank (28), which comprises a roller tube, onto which a fabric has been wound and which is adapted to be cut by means of a cutting device (1) according to the invention. For this the roller blind blank (28) comprises a disposable wrapping, which bears a visible measurement scale along at least one end portion of the roller blind blank (28).

A core end piece collector for handling cut off end pieces during processing of tubular cores has a carrying member and a catcher arranged on the carrying member. The catcher protrudes from the carrying member at an angle in relation to the longitudinal direction of the carrying member.
