Catheter
A catheter has a catheter tube made of plastic with a closed catheter tip. At least one passage opening is formed in a section of a sheath wall adjacent to the catheter tip. The passage opening merges into the outer sheath wall of the catheter tube via rounded edge regions. The result is a catheter whose insertion into a body cavity is facilitated.
METHOD OF MAKING A SLEEVE FOR COVERING RECEPTACLE, AND APPARATUS FOR MAKING THE SLEEVE
Disclosed is a method of making a shrink label for covering a receptacle having a protrustion, from a strip of flexible tubular material, wherein the shrink label has a given length measured from a first end to a second end, being measured in the longitudinal direction of the strip, the method having at least the step of comprising: puncturing the strip to form a puncture being spaced apart from the first end and from the second end, wherein the puncture suits the shape of the protrustion.
Tube perforating machine
The invention relates to tube perforating machine for perforating a hollow tube. The powered machine includes a mechanical timing system comprising a Geneva mechanism so that perforations are punched when the tube is held stationary and perforations cannot be punched when the tube is rotating or moving longitudinally within the machine.
CATHETER AND PROCESS FOR MANUFACTURING A CATHETER
The present invention relates to a catheter and a process for manufacturing a radially extending opening in tubing for a catheter. The tubing having at least one lumen being enclosed by at least one tubing wall and the process comprises placing tubing in a fixture, applying force to the tubing and thereby fixing the tubing in the fixture in a position for making an opening, pressing a heated depression tool against the surface of the tubing creating a depression area in the at least one tubing wall, and punching an opening cutting tool through the at least one tubing wall within the depression area creating an opening in the depression area of the at least one tubing wall, the opening extending from the exterior of the tubing to the lumen of the tubing.
AUTOMATED PUNCHING STATION FOR THE PRODUCTION OF PUNCHED COMPONENTS, PUNCHED COMPONENT AND RELATIVE PRODUCTION METHOD
The invention relates to an automated punching station for the production of punched components for prosthetic surgery instruments, in particular for instruments able to mill/cut or otherwise carry out tissue removal processes in preparation for, or in the context of, prosthetic surgery operations. The invention also concerns a method to produce said punched components, and a punched component thus obtained.
Side-to-side anastomosis system and punch tool for same
A method of making a side-to-side anastomosis includes making first and second holes through a first vessel, and second vessel, respectively, by receiving a jaw of a punch tool into exposed ends of the respective vessels, and then moving a punch tool toward the jaw and through the wall of the vessel. The vessels are joined with an elongate eyelet with a passage that matches a shape of the oval first and second holes. The long axes of the oval holes are oriented parallel to a longitudinal axes of the respective vessels.
Method of making a sleeve for covering receptacle, and apparatus for making the sleeve
Disclosed is a method of making a shrink label for covering a receptacle having a protrusion, from a strip of flexible tubular material, wherein the shrink label has a given length measured from a first end to a second end, being measured in the longitudinal direction of the strip, the method having at least the step of: puncturing the strip to form a puncture being spaced apart from the first end and from the second end, wherein the puncture suits the shape of the protrusion.
Notcher
Present invention teaches a notcher having primary structures of a base plate with a mounting plate set in a vertical orientation. A square plate carries a pivotable trapezoidal plate that carries the notcher assembly. The square plate is slidably connected to said mounting plate wedges on the square plate where those wedges match to v-grooves on the side of the mounting plate. A T-post clamp serves to provide the holding structure to hold work pieces in place for the notcher assembly to do the needed work of cutting/notching out a hole.
CATHETERS WITH BEVELLED DRAINAGE HOLES
A method and a device for forming holes (17a, 17b) through a lateral wall of a catheter are disclosed. The method comprises the steps of providing a section of the catheter between a pair of tubular punching members 6, driving at least one of said pair of tubular punching members towards the other in order to punch through said lateral wall 23 of the catheter and thereby sever one pair of oppositely located hole pieces from the lateral wall, actuating an ejection unit 7, in order to force said severed hole pieces away from the catheter via said internal lumen of the tubular punching members, withdrawing said pair of tubular punching members. A catheter 2 produced is also disclosed.
