TRIM TOOL WITH ADJUSTABLE TRIM CENTERS
A thermoforming trim tool which comprises a punch side and a die side. The punch side moves to the die side in order to trim molded articles from a heated thermoforming sheet that is disposed therebetween. While the punch side of the tool comprises a plurality of punches, the die side of the tool comprises a plurality of dies, and both the punches and the dies are engaged with upper mount plates. Each of the upper mount plates is engaged with a lower mount plate via one or more location keys. Each of the location keys is configured to provide that the upper mount plates are shifted a pre-determined distance relative to the lower mount plate, thereby providing trim centers which are adjusted to account for pre-determined shrinkage in the sheet.

An electrode cutting device is provided. The electrode cutting device may perform a full-width cutting process and an edge cutting process together to simplify the manufacturing process, thereby significantly improving work efficiency. Particularly, an edge of the electrode is uniformly cut to prevent defects from occurring.
Machining planar workpieces
A machine for machining, such as cutting and/or forming, planar workpieces has an upper tool and a lower tool that are movable toward each other to machine a workpiece arranged therebetween. The upper tool includes at least one cutting tool having at least one cutting edge and a clamping shaft. The lower tool includes a main body having a support surface for the workpiece. The support surface has an opening associated with an inner counter cutting edge. The lower tool has a positioning axis and at least one outer counter cutting edge provided outside of the opening and associated with the support surface. The outer counter cutting edge is aligned with an outer face of the support surface. A distance of the outer counter cutting edge from the position axis and a distance of the inner counter cutting edge from the position axis deviate from each other.

Heated tool for cutting and sealing meltable material
A tool for cutting a substrate and method of use. The tool has a blade with a distal cutting tip at least one shoulder on one side of and proximal the cutting tip. The cutting tip and shoulder are positioned so that when cutting, at least a portion of the at least one shoulder is in contact with at least one cut edge of the substrate defined by a cut line formed by penetrating the substrate thickness with the cutting tip. A heater heats the blade shoulder to a temperature that causes the portion of the shoulder in contact with the cut edge of the substrate to seal the cut edge. The method includes heating the blade, penetrating the substrate with the cutting tip with a portion of the shoulder contacting the substrate, and moving the blade relative to the substrate.

A multi-cavity mould (1) comprising:—an upper tool (11) and a lower tool (12) arranged in a cooperating manner; characterized in that the upper tool (11) comprises a knife pressure box (13) comprising:—a horizontal top plate (131);—first and second end plates (132) and first and second side plates (133) extending orthogonally downwardly from a lower surface of the plate (131); the plates (132, 133) are connected such that the plate (131) and the plates (132, 133) form a downwardly open rectangular parallelepiped enclosure; the plates (132, 133) are made from tool steel with a thickness (t) from 6.35-10 mm and a cutting surface (130) defined along an orthogonally downwardly projecting end of plates (132, 133) wherein—the surface (130) has a substantially V-shaped profile comprising a micro flat face (M) with a width from 0.02-0.1 mm and is positioned such that when the pressure box (13) is pressed against the sheet (3), the surface (130) partially penetrates the sheet (3) in order to form a seal around the pressure box (13) by pressing a zone of the sheet (3) which was partially trimmed and situated inside the enclosure against the surface (130).

A sheet processing apparatus includes: at least one processing tool that takes a processable state and an unprocessable state; a setting unit that sets operation parameters on the processable state and the unprocessable state; and a control unit that controls an operation of the processing tool based on the set operation parameters, in which the setting unit sets the operation parameters such that: a processable state holding process in which the processing tool holds the processable state, is executed, when a certain portion-to-be-processed is formed in a certain pre-product and then a next portion-to-be-processed of the same type as the certain portion-to-be-processed is formed in a next pre-product; and/or a processing tool selection process in which the processing tool for forming the portion-to-be-processed is selected so that a moving distance of the processing tool is minimized, is executed.
TRIM PRESS HANDLER SYSTEM
A trim press receiver for receiving an array of products from a trim press comprises support elements, a strip away mechanism, and a pusher rake. The support elements are configured to receive arrays of products and support the arrays of products in rows of stacks. The strip away mechanism is configured to form gaps in the stacks of products. The pusher rake is configured to extend into the gaps and press portions of the stacks off the support elements.

The tools further include a lower tool having a lower main body with a rest surface for the workpiece and a positioning axis oriented perpendicular to the rest surface, at least one counter tool body on the lower main body that has a counter cutting edge that is a closed contour. The cutting edge of the at least one tool body has a cutting contour that corresponds to the closed contour of the at least one counter tool body, and at least one group of at least two counter tool bodies on the lower tool can be associated with the closed contour of the least one tool body.
