PROCESS FOR PRODUCING RESINOUS PANEL
A process for producing a resinous panel which is for use as at least some of the front panel of an article, the process including (A) a step in which a resin sheet having a thickness of 0.5-10 mm is fixed to a working table and (B) a step in which the resin sheet is punched out by forcing a Thomson blade into the resin sheet approximately perpendicularly thereto from the side where the surface of the resin sheet is to be the outer surface of the article, thereby obtaining the front panel, wherein (C) the Thomson blade is a double-edged blade having an edge angle of 30-60 degrees. The resin sheet has a tensile modulus of preferably 1,500 MPa or greater. Preferably, the resin sheet includes a transparent resin sheet layer and a colored resin sheet layer in this order from the surface that is to be the outer surface of the article. The colored resin sheet is one which does not break when a DuPont impact test was conducted in accordance with ASTM-D2794 in a 0° C. environment under the conditions of a height of 50 cm, an impactor diameter of 1 inch, an impactor weight of 1 Kg, and a pedestal diameter of ½ inch.
Pouch Cell Cutting Apparatus and Pouch Cell Manufacturing Method
A pouch cell cutting apparatus according to an embodiment of the present disclosure, includes a top knife and a bottom knife for cutting a sealing part of a battery cell which includes a cell case and an electrode assembly housed in the cell case, wherein both side parts of the top knife comprises protrusion parts protruding toward the recessed parts formed on both side parts of the bottom knife, respectively, and wherein a corner part of the battery cell is cut by the protrusion part.
OSTOMY WAFER CUTTER
Provided is an ostomy wafer cutter for enlarging a hole of an ostomy wafer. The ostomy wafer cutter includes an upper element having a locking means to removably lock a blade element. An upper arm is connected to the upper element. A lower element comprises a platform and a central pin for insertion in the hole of the ostomy wafer. A lower arm is connected to the lower element. A handle portion positioned on at least one of: upper arm and/or lower arm, the handle portion graspable and moveable by a user in a cutting position to bring the upper element in close contact with the lower element causing the cutting edge to cut the ostomy wafer enlarging the hole of the ostomy wafer. The proposed wafer cutter efficiently enlarges the opening of the ostomy wafer and is useful for patients having limited dexterity and/or for elderly people.
Device and process for introducing perforations into laminates
Described is a ultrasonic welding of laminates, more particular to the use of ultrasonic energy to create stable perforations in a laminate, in particular a laminate that includes a silicone gel. Specifically, a perforation element is provided, that is optionally part of array of perforation elements, which perforation element or array of perforation elements is advantageously used in an ultrasonic welding device and in a process for continuously introducing perforations into a laminate.
Sanitary tissue product with a shaped line of weakness
A web of sanitary tissue of the present disclosure may comprise a shaped line of weakness, wherein the toilet tissue exhibits a Line of Weakness Performance Factor (LWP Factor) of from about 7 to about 30, and a Full Sheet Average Trapezoidal Tear Strength of between about 8 g and about 20 g according to the Full Sheet Average Trapezoidal Tear Force Test Method.
ULTRASONIC BLADE FOR CUTTING A METAL
