Cutting system for soft materials using replaceable blades
A system may include a blade die, a first clamping caul positioned on a first side of the blade die, and a second clamping caul positioned on a second side of the blade die. A molding surface of the blade die and a molding surface of the first clamping caul may be configured to bend a first interchangeable blade positioned therebetween into a first shape in response to a first compression force. A second molding surface of the blade die and a molding surface of the second clamping caul may be configured to bend a second interchangeable blade positioned therebetween into a second shape in response to a second compression force.
Adjustable width blanking die apparatuses
A blanking die apparatus includes a first blanking die including an upper die shoe including an upper die shoe cutting surface and a lower die shoe including a lower die shoe cutting surface. A second blanking die includes an upper die shoe including an upper die shoe cutting surface and a lower die shoe including a lower die shoe cutting surface. The second blanking die movable on a base in a feed direction to increase and decrease a dimension of a blank formed between the first blanking die and the second blanking die.
Apparatus and system for die press and cutting
A padding system mountable on a working surface of a die press device to provide a cushion for die cutting includes one or more padding blocks, each of the one or more padding blocks including a backing layer and a padding layer. The backing layer is composed of a flexible magnetic material and the padding layer is composed of a soft cushion material. The padding layer is bonded to the backing layer.
Cut-crease rule for dieboard
A rule to be inserted into a die-board that is pressed onto a plate matter, the rule including: a multi-edge cutting blade having a cutting blade edge, the cutting blade edge divided into multiple sections with multiple spacings between the multiple sections; and a plurality of connecting pieces configured to fit into the multiple spacings and to provide support for the multiple sections of the cutting blade edge when the rule is pressed onto the plate matter.
Electrode Cutting Device and Method and Electrode Manufacturing Apparatus Comprising the Same
An electrode cutting device is provided. The electrode cutting device may perform a full-width cutting process and an edge cutting process together to simplify the manufacturing process, thereby significantly improving work efficiency. Particularly, an edge of the electrode is uniformly cut to prevent defects from occurring.
Pouch Cell Cutting Apparatus and Pouch Cell Manufacturing Method
A pouch cell cutting apparatus according to an embodiment of the present disclosure, includes a top knife and a bottom knife for cutting a sealing part of a battery cell which includes a cell case and an electrode assembly housed in the cell case, wherein both side parts of the top knife comprises protrusion parts protruding toward the recessed parts formed on both side parts of the bottom knife, respectively, and wherein a corner part of the battery cell is cut by the protrusion part.
Separating apparatus and separating method for adhesive-containing composite material
The invention relates to an apparatus comprising a separating tool and comprising a counterpressure plate for producing contour geometries in adhesive-containing composite materials, wherein the separating tool can be moved in translational tool stroke directions between an inoperative position and a parting position normal to the counterpressure plate, and also to a method for producing contour geometries in adhesive-containing composite materials by means of an apparatus of this kind. The separating tool and the counterpressure plate can be actuated relative to one another by means of at least one actuator in at least one excitation direction with a ramp function and/or with a jump function. Each of these excitation directions lies in a parallel plane to a cutting edge plane of the separating tool. The present invention permits reliable separation of a stamped grid from laminate sections which remain on a carrier film.
CONTINUOUS PUNCHING METHOD
A continuous punching method comprises: providing a sheet material, applying a first punching process of a first punch station to the sheet material, and applying a second punching process of a second punch station to the sheet material. The first punching process includes: adjusting a punching depth of a punch blade of the first punch station to determine a lateral length to be punched out by the punch blade, and forming two longitudinally spaced apart first punched slits on the sheet material through the punch blade. The second punching process includes: adjusting lateral positions of two punch blocks of the second punch station, and forming two laterally spaced apart second punched areas on the sheet material through the punch blocks. The two first punched slits and the two second punched areas communicate with each other to form a contour of a combined cut-out.
Label stacking machine and method
A device for stacking a plurality of partially connected labels into a plurality of partially connected pads of labels comprises a robot arm having at least one vacuum source configured to selectively supply a vacuum force. The device also includes a plate coupled to the robot arm and a flexible pad coupled to the plate and including a plurality of apertures configured to direct the majority of the vacuum force through the flexible pad to a surface of the plurality of partially connected labels.
Machining planar workpieces
A machine for machining, such as cutting and/or forming, planar workpieces has an upper tool and a lower tool that are movable toward each other to machine a workpiece arranged therebetween. The upper tool includes at least one cutting tool having at least one cutting edge and a clamping shaft. The lower tool includes a main body having a support surface for the workpiece. The support surface has an opening associated with an inner counter cutting edge. The lower tool has a positioning axis and at least one outer counter cutting edge provided outside of the opening and associated with the support surface. The outer counter cutting edge is aligned with an outer face of the support surface. A distance of the outer counter cutting edge from the position axis and a distance of the inner counter cutting edge from the position axis deviate from each other.
