Feeding Device with Spring-Loaded Feeding Rollers
A feeding device includes a plurality of driving modules, a plurality of feeding modules and a plurality of couplers. Each driving module has a driving shaft pivotally mounted on a housing and driven by a power module to be rotated about an axis. Each feeding module includes a pivoting shaft substantially coaxial with the driving shaft, a suspending unit journalled on the pivoting shaft to be pivotable and having a bearing portion which is disposed to be biased downwardly by a spring member, a driven shaft mounted rotatably on the bearing portion, and a feeding roller driven by the driven shaft. Each coupler includes a transmitting shaft having two ends connected to the driving shaft and driven shaft by universal joints, respectively.
Log cutter
A sawmill and method for sawing a log. The sawmill includes a transfer conveyor to convey a log quarter wedge segment to a log transport rig configured to orient the log quarter wedge segment so that an apex of the log quarter wedge segment is oriented in a downward direction. The log transport rig moves the log quarter wedge segment through a band saw configured to saw the log quarter wedge segment into two log eighth wedge segments. A transfer conveyor is provided to gather the two log eighth wedge segments from the log transport rig and feed the two log eighth wedge segments sequentially to a resawing rig comprising a conveying device and from two to six band saws configured to saw boards from the each of two log eighth wedge segments in succession as each of the two log eighth wedge segments are transported through the resawing rig.
REMOTE CONTROL POWER TOOL AND METHOD
A remote control power tool for a working material including a support configured to support the working material, a power tool fixed to the support, at least one actuator configured to move the working material, a user interface remote from the power tool, a controller communicably coupled to the user interface, video camera proximate the power tool, and a visual display proximate the user interface.
LOG HANDLING DEVICE AND METHOD FOR LOG HANDLING
A log handling device, having a rotatable rotor provided with log handler, and a feeder attached to the rotor for conducting an operating medium to the log handler. The feeder is arranged to wind around the rotor when the rotor is rotated in a first direction, and which feeder is arranged to unwind from around the rotor when the rotor is rotated in a second direction. The log handling device includes a rotatable second rotor to which the feeder is attached, and an operating device for rotating the second rotor synchronously with the rotor, such that the feeder is arranged to wind around the second rotor when the rotor is rotated in the second direction, and that the feeder is arranged to unwind from around the second rotor when the rotor is rotated in the first direction.
