DRIVE LINK FOR A SAWCHAIN, AND AN ARRANGEMENT OF A PLURALITY OF DRIVE LINKS FOR A SAWCHAIN
A drive link for a sawchain is disclosed wherein the drive link has a top side which faces away from an opening plane defined by the respective axes of the rivet openings and extends at least partially at the drive link apex. A functional surface and a contact surface spaced apart from the functional surface are provided on the top side of the drive link. The functional surface is formed on the drive link apex and includes a section of the top side in which the top side is at a maximum spacing from the opening plane. The functional surface of the top side of the drive link is point-symmetric to a symmetry point with respect to the contact surface in the viewing direction toward the drive link plane.
HIGH-EFFICIENCY SAW CHAIN
A high-efficiency saw chain, including a plurality of transmission pieces, a plurality of rebound transmission pieces, a plurality of cutters, a plurality of connecting pieces and a plurality of pin shafts. The product of the average pitch between two adjacent pin shafts in the saw chain, the maximum height of the saw chain and the maximum thickness of the saw chain is 406 to 450 mm3. The high-efficiency saw chain may reduce the volume of the saw chain, reduce the size of the saw chain, effectively reduce the energy consumption of the saw chain, and effectively prolong the battery life of a lithium battery or gasoline engine.
CUTTING LINK, A SAW CHAIN AND A CHAINSAW APPARATUS HAVING THE SAME, AND A METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME
A cutting link, a saw chain and a chainsaw apparatus having the same, and a method for manufacturing the same. The cutting link includes: a body; a depth gauge protruding upwardly from a top side of the body; and a cutting portion protruding upwardly from the top side of the body and located at rearward side of the depth gauge, wherein the cutting portion includes a cutting edge, a rake face adjacent to the cutting edge, and a clearance face adjacent to the cutting edge, and wherein the cutting portion has one or more hardened areas including a first surface hardened area which covers at least the rake face, with other areas of the cutting link being non-surface hardened areas. The chain is a single use chain with predictable long life and economical use, and capable of minimizing the risk of chain shot.

A Chainsaw Cutting Link, A Saw Chain, A Method of Manufacturing a Cutting Link, and Use of a Cutting Link
A chainsaw cutting link (1b) comprises a cutting tooth (7b) with a side plate (12b) and a top plate (10b), defining an L-shaped cutting edge (13b, 14b). The top plate (10b) comprises an outer surface (11b) with a first outer surface portion and a depressed second outer surface portion (16). A saw chain comprises a plurality of such cutting links (1b). Use of such cutting links (1b) or such a saw chain increases the ability of making bore cuts. A method of manufacturing a cutting link (1b) comprises: punching a piece of material to form a cutting link (1b) blank with a top plate portion (10b) and a side plate portion (12b); bending the top plate portion (10b) to form an L-shaped cutting edge (13b, 14b); and grinding thereof. An area of the top plate (10b), corresponding to the second outer surface (16) is depressed.
SAW CHAIN LINK WITH ONE OR MORE OVERSIZED RIVET HOLES
Embodiments herein provide apparatuses, systems, and methods associated with a saw chain link having one or more oversized rivet holes. A rivet may be disposed in the oversized rivet hole and provide a clearance between the rivet and the edge of the oversized rivet hole that is about 0.010 inches or more. The clearance may permit the saw chain to move between two or more stable positions. The saw chain link may be a drive link, such as a cutter drive link or a bumper drive link. In some embodiments, the saw chain link may be a bi-directional saw chain link. Other embodiments may be described and claimed.

Cutting Chain for Cutting Mineral or Metallic Materials
A cutting chain for cutting mineral or metallic materials has central drive links with a projection. Pairs of two side members are positioned laterally at the central drive links. The central drive links and the side member pairs are pivotably connected to each other. At least two cutting members are arranged sequentially in running direction of the cutting chain and each have one pair of side members and an abrasive cutting element connecting the two side members to each other. A drive link is arranged between the two cutting members and the projection of the drive link projects into a space between the cutting elements. The cutting chain has a cutout arranged such that a maximum sag of the cutting chain, at which the projection of the drive link comes into contact with one of the cutting elements, is enlarged compared to the same cutting chain without cutout.
High efficiency saw chain
A high efficiency saw chain for a saw including a cutting link and a drive link, the cutting link and a drive link selected to provide a high efficiency saw chain for a specified power range, based on ratios of components of the chain, such as the ratio of the height of the cutter to the pitch of the chain.
