SPLITTER PROFILER
In various embodiments, a splitter profiler apparatus may include at least one profiler head and at least one circular saw mounted to a common arbor. The circular saw may be mounted to a saw arm, and the saw arm may be coupled with an actuator that is selectively operable to move the circular saw along the arbor. The circular saw may be used in a profiling position, in which the circular saw and profiler head are in close proximity, such that the profiler head and circular saw function collectively to form a sideboard edge with a sawn finish. The circular saw may also be used in a splitting position, in which the circular saw is at a distance from the profiler, to divide the sideboard into narrower sideboards before the sideboards are sawn from the primary workpiece. Corresponding methods and systems are also described herein.
Engaging Tool
A system and method for an engaging tool. Removing debris, trees and clearing land and paths requires the use of specific tool and machinery. To grind, break and shred wood, the machines must be fitted with proper attachments and engaging tools. One tool includes a front a front face and a back face connected by two opposing side faces and an opposing top face and base face. The front face has a concave shape and an outer channel which extends inwardly into the front face. The front face also has a tube a tube extending outwardly from said front face. The tube is located within the outer channel.

EDGE BAND CUTTING DEVICE OF EDGE BANDING MACHINE
An edge band cutting device includes a base reciprocated along a direction parallel to a conveying path between a front cutting position and a rear cutting position, a baffle component disposed to the base and having a baffle configured to be reciprocated along a direction parallel to the conveying path between an initial position and a compression position, and reciprocated along a direction perpendicular to the conveying path between a lifting position and a lowering position, and a cutting component disposed to the base and having a saw blade configured to be reciprocated up and down along a cutting path perpendicular to the conveying path. By operation of the baffle component and the cutting component, only one saw blade is used to cut a front protrusion and a rear protrusion of an edge band, such that the structural design is greatly simplified.

APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR PROCESSING LOGS
An apparatus for processing logs includes a conveyor for conveying a log in the apparatus, a chipping canter, which comprises two chipping head assemblies for chipping the opposite sides of a log, and a saw, which comprises at least two circular blades for sawing the log on at least one side. The chipping head assemblies are installed on different shafts than the circular blades. The circular blades of a saw are situated before the chipping canter in the conveying direction of a log and are arranged to, before chipping, partly or completely saw off from the log the parts of the log that are to be chipped with the chipping head assemblies.

WOOD CUTTING TOOL AND AN ARRANGEMENT FOR USING SAID TOOL
Disclosed is a cutting tool mounted on a shaft rotating about an axis, including a body having first cutting inserts mounted with equal spacing at the outer periphery of the body, which first cutting inserts have a cutting edge extending across the width of the body at a predetermined peripheral radius from the axis; and second cutting inserts mounted with equal spacing adjacent the outer periphery on a first side surface of the body, which second cutting inserts have a cutting edge extending in an axial plane perpendicular to the axis. The cutting edge of each first insert extends up to a predetermined distance from the axial plane of the second inserts; and the cutting edge of each second insert preceding a first insert extends a predetermined radial distance outside the peripheral radius of the cutting edges of the first inserts. Also disclosed is a related apparatus.
