Method and installations for processing a veneer and corresponding veneer

A method and processing station for producing a veneer having two parallel opposed faces and including at least one lignocellulosic layer made of lignocellulosic fibers having a grain extending along the opposed faces of the veneer. The processing station carries out the method by applying a compressive force to the veneer along at least one direction extending along the opposed faces of the veneer so as to mechanically compress the lignocellulosic fibers.

TUBULAR IMPLEMENT AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING A TUBULAR IMPLEMENT

A laminated wood product comprising providing a plank presenting a pair of parallel major surfaces, a pair of minor surfaces, a pair of end surfaces and a longitudinal direction parallel with said major and minor surfaces and perpendicular to the end surfaces, said plank having a water content of more than 25% by weight, preferably more than 30% by weight. At least one of the major surfaces is laminated to a surface of a second member.

METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR PRODUCING AN ENGINEERED WOOD
20210276218 · 2021-09-09 ·

The present invention relates to a method for producing an engineered wood, comprising the steps of: (a) breaking down a veneer to increase its porosity; (b) impregnating the veneer from step (a) with an adhesive material; (c) drying the veneer from step (b) to a predetermined moisture content level; (d) arranging a plurality of the veneers from step (c) in a mould; and (e) pressing the plurality of the veneers in the mould. The engineered wood has an appearance of natural timber, and is able to withstand extreme weather conditions and have minimum warping, rotting and termite infestation.

The present disclosure relates to a method of producing a laminated wood product, comprising providing a plank presenting a pair of parallel major surfaces, a pair of minor surfaces, a pair of end surfaces and a longitudinal direction parallel with said major and minor surfaces and perpendicular to the end surfaces, said plank having a water content of more than 25% by weight, preferably more than 30% by weight, initializing at least one longitudinal crack in the plank, drying said crack initialized plank to a moisture content of less than 20% by weight, and laminating said crack initialized plank by gluing at least one of its major surfaces to a surface of a second member, thus forming the laminated wood product. The disclosure also relates to a laminated wood product, which may be formed according to the method.

Method and apparatus for dehydrating veneer

Method and apparatus for dehydration of veneer sheet having therein a knot are disclosed. Veneer dehydration apparatus includes a first stationary single dehydrating roller and a plurality of second movable sectional dehydrating rollers, which rollers are disposed one above the other so that a nip through which a veneer sheet for dehydration is moved is formed between the first and second rollers. A stop device determines the initial position of each second roller relative to the first roller where a predetermined spaced distance is formed between the first and the second rollers. An urging device yieldably urges each second roller to the initial position. The second roller is movable away from the initial position against the urging force of the urging device independently of the other second rollers by a knot present in the veneer sheet and just moving through the nip between the second roller and the first roller.

PACKAGING PLYWOOD SLEEVE
20190352067 · 2019-11-21 ·

A method for manufacturing a blank for forming a packaging plywood sleeve for wrapping a package, the method includes providing a plywood sheet having a thickness in the range of 0.1-2.0 mm and comprising at least two plies, and cutting at least one fold line to the plywood sheet by cutting through less than all the plies of the plywood sheet. The present application also provides a blank for forming a packaging plywood sleeve, a method for manufacturing a packaging plywood sleeve and a packaging plywood sleeve.
