The hanger may include a first interface portion disposed at a first end of the body, and the first interface portion may include a first aperture and a second aperture. The hanger may additionally include a second interface portion disposed proximate to a second end, and a portion of the first face of the body may extend along a guide bar of the chainsaw. The second interface portion may align with a receiving orifice formed in the guide bar to enable a releasable fastener to operably couple the guide bar to the hanger. The first and second apertures may be configured to slidingly engage with the bars of the bar assembly to suspend the chainsaw from the bar assembly.
HANDHELD ELECTRIC TOOL AND MOTOR ASSEMBLY FOR ELECTRIC TOOL
The present invention provides a handheld electric tool and a motor assembly for a handheld electric tool. The handheld electric tool of the present invention comprises a housing, a working member, a motor and a motor support. The motor support comprises a first part positioned at a far-side end of the motor and fixedly connected to the housing, and a second part extending from the first part into the interior of the motor and fixedly connected to a stator of the motor. The second part is provided with a first through-hole for a rotor shaft of the motor to pass through, and an output end of the rotor shaft extends through the first through-hole and drives the working member to move. The handheld electric tool provided in the present invention can prevent excessive transmission of motor vibration to the housing, and can pump fluid through the motor to cool components in the housing. Furthermore, the motor assembly of the present invention has an ingenious layout, making the machine as a whole smaller and more lightweight.
Power cutting tool having a guard unit
A power cutting tool includes at least one cutting strand and at least one guide unit configured to guide the cutting strand. The power cutting tool further includes at least one cutting strand contact guard unit which has at least one cutting strand contact guard element. The at least one cutting strand contact guard element is movably mounted on the guide unit and is configured to at least substantially prevent, in at least one operating position of the cutting strand contact guard element, contact between the cutting strand and a user of the power cutting tool.
Vegetation pruning device
A vegetation pruning device includes a pair of pivotably coupled handles and a motor having a rotary output drive for driving an endless flexible cutting chain. A guard is moved relative to the chain by pivoting of the handles relative to each other to grip vegetation between the guard and the chain. The motor is actuated by pressing each of a pair of elongate triggers at any position along the length of the triggers.
Method for Automatically Ascertaining Cleaning, Maintenance and/or Repair Information for a Motor-Driven Treatment Tool and System for Automatically Ascertaining Cleaning, Maintenance and/or Repair Information for a Motor-Driven Treatment Tool
A method and system automatically determine cleaning, maintenance and/or repair information for a motor-driven treatment tool, wherein the treatment tool comprises a residue, able to be detected externally optically, caused during the operation of the treatment tool. The method involves the steps of: optically detecting the residue; classing the detected residue in accordance with a type of the residue; determining the cleaning, maintenance and/or repair information based on the classing; and outputting the determined cleaning, maintenance and/or repair information.
Chain Saw Tensioner and Chain Catcher
The present invention is directed to a chain saw having a chain tension knob to adjust the tension of a chain. The knob is rotated to move the chain bar to increase or decrease the tension on the chain depending on the direction of rotation. The knob is positioned at a forward portion of the chainsaw housing, below the chain bar. The knob acts as a chain catcher so that in case of chain breakage or derailment, it blocks the chain from swinging rearward toward the user and reduces the likelihood of serious injury.
ACTIVE PROTECTION SYSTEM AND RELATIVE OPERATING METHOD IN A PORTABLE CUTTING TOOL
An active protection system and method in a portable cutting tool with movable cutting members includes at least: a cutting member stop; a controller/processor triggering the stop upon the detection of a danger condition; a proximal electrode electrically coupled with a tool handle and a distal electrode electrically coupled with the cutting member, to make up an armature of a capacitor, the processing unit feeding an electric output signal into one of the electrodes and detecting an electric input signal on the other electrode. The electric output signal includes different frequencies. A detection unit detecting a complex impedance of the electric input signal at the different frequencies. The processing unit determines a danger condition and causes triggering of the stop based on a value of the magnitude of the complex impedance electric signal and on a phase difference of the impedance electric signal at the different frequencies.
HAND-HELD ELECTRIC TOOL
The present invention provides a hand-held electric tool comprising a housing and an operating component. The housing has a main body section and a grip section extending from the rear side of the main body section, and the front end of the main body section is provided with a mounting interface. The operating component is mounted at the mounting interface of the housing and protrudes from the housing. A chip removal hole is formed in the bottom wall of the main body section of the housing, and a protective portion that extends downwards at least partially is provided at the bottom end at the position where the main body section joins the grip section. The bottom of a hand-held electric tool of the present invention is substantially closed, except for being provided with a chip removal hole, which allows removal of chips while preventing a user's hand from being inadvertently extended into the housing and contacting a component operating at a high speed. Moreover, chips removed through the chip removal hole are blocked by the protective portion, without reaching the grip section, which offers considerable advantages in terms of safety and hygiene.
CHAIN SAW
According to examples, a power tool may include a chassis and a guide bar mounted to the chassis, the guide bar having a central axis. The power tool may also include a handle attached to the chassis above the central axis of the guide bar and a motor housed within the chassis to drive a chain around the guide bar, in which the motor is positioned beneath the central axis of the guide bar and a central axis of the motor is at a certain angle with respect to the central axis. The handle, the motor, and the battery pack mount may be positioned with respect to the chassis to cause the power tool to substantially be balanced in both lateral and longitudinal directions about a location near the trigger mechanism when the battery pack is mounted to the battery pack mount.
Chainsaw
A chainsaw includes a handle with a handgrip; an electric motor for endlessly moving a saw chain; a control unit for controlling rotation of the motor; and a main power switch switchable between an ON state and an OFF state. The handgrip is provided with a gripping detection device for detecting whether the handgrip is gripped by the worker, and the chainsaw is configured to, when the control unit is manipulated to deactivate the electric motor in a state in which the gripping detection device detects that the handgrip is gripped, maintain the main power switch in the ON state, and to, when the control unit is manipulated to deactivate the electric motor in a state in which the gripping detection device detects that the handgrip is not gripped, switch the main power switch to the OFF state.
