Insulated Panel and Method of Manufacturing an Insulated Panel
The invention relates to an insulated panel, in particular a wall panel or roof panel, including a foamed core layer and a cover layer affixed to the foamed core layer. The invention also relates to an insulating covering, in particular a wall covering or floor covering, including a plurality said insulated panels.
FINES INTERFACE LAYER FOR IMPROVED ENGINEERED WOOD PRODUCTS
An engineered wood based siding, cladding or panel with a fines interface layer between the main strand matrix layers and the fines layer to minimize telegraphing and provide an improved surface appearance. The fines interface layer is applied to the surface of the strand matrix or mat prior to application of the fines layer. The FIL sits between the strand matrix and the fines layer, and prevents the loss of fines into the strand matrix. The FIL thus keeps the fines at the surface so they can effectively and efficiently function to prevent or eliminate strand telegraphing, and provide a smooth finished surface for the product.

FIRE-RETARDANT-TREATED WOOD COMPOSITE PANELS FOR EXTERIOR APPLICATIONS OR WEATHER EXPOSURE DURING CONSTRUCTIONS
A multi-layer fire-resistance treatment (FRT) panel for use as structural sheathing. The wood structural panel may be OSB or plywood, coated or treated during the manufacturing process with a product that provides fire resistance. The treatment may be integrated with the material forming the wood structural panel, or may be a coating layer applied to the mat or mat layer. A burn-through layer also may be applied. A protective layer comprising a resin-impregnated paper overlay may be applied on one or both sides of the panel.

Building material and method for manufacturing building material
[Object] To provide a building material having excellent durability. [Solution] A building material has a convex part formed on a surface thereof, the convex part including a first lateral surface part and a second lateral surface part corresponding to the first lateral surface part. The building material is formed from a mixture containing a hydraulic material, an admixture, and a plant-based reinforcing material, and the plant-based reinforcing material at least in the convex part is distributed in the mixture with the hydraulic material and the admixture attached to the plant-based reinforcing material. A distribution of the plant-based reinforcing material in the first lateral surface part and a distribution of the plant-based reinforcing material in the second lateral surface part are substantially the same. Desirably, the convex part includes a first edge part that is an edge part of the first lateral surface part and a second edge part that is an edge part of the second lateral surface part and that corresponds to the first edge part, and a distribution of holes formed in the first edge part and a distribution of holes formed in the second edge part are substantially the same.

In-line coated decorative wood-based boards
The present invention relates to a process for manufacturing a decorative wood-based board, to a decorative wood-based board, to the use of at least one dry or liquid coating composition comprising at least one inorganic particulate filler material and at least one binder for in-line coating of decorative wood-based boards, and to the use of at least one dry or liquid coating composition comprising at least one inorganic particulate filler material and at least one binder for improving the mechanical properties of a decorative wood-based board. Furthermore, it relates to the use of a decorative wood-based board in flooring applications, furniture, walls, roof panels, display cabinets, storage units, loudspeakers and shop-fittings.
A PROCESS FOR PRODUCING A NON-WOVEN GRASS FIBRE PRODUCT
A process for producing a non-woven grass fibre product comprises providing a grass fibre biomass obtained by aerobic fermentation of a meadow grass slurry and removal of digestible elements released during aerobic fermentation, mixing and shaping the grass fibre biomass to form a non-woven grass fibre mat, and binding and drying the mat to form the non-woven grass fibre product.
