The wood preforming device includes a lower press mold including a debossed portion disposed on a portion of the lower press mold on which a product is to be formed, and a support portion supporting an upper press mold when the lower press mold and the upper press mold are compressed. The support portion has a fixing protrusion fixing the real wood sheet, the upper press mold has an embossed portion corresponding to the debossed portion of the lower press mold. A movable core provided on the debossed portion of the lower press mold guiding the real wood sheet by moving upward from the debossed portion when the upper press mold moves downward, and a steam module spray steam with a preset capacity to an edge portion of the debossed portion.
Methods and compositions for preparing particle boards
An amorphous polylactic acid polymer having a weight average molecular weight in the range of about 35,000 to 180,000 is described. The polylactic acid polymer composition can be hammer milled without cryogenics result in the form of particles wherein 90% of the particles have particle size of about 250 μm or less and the material has a glass transition temperature of between about 55° C. to about 58° C. and a relative viscosity of about 1.45 to about 1.95 centipoise. The polymer composition can be used to form an aqueous suspension. The material is ideally suited for use in preparing particleboard. A method is disclosed for preparing such polylactic acid polymers. The method involves obtaining an amorphous polylactic acid polymer having a weight average molecular weight of between about 115,000 to about 180,000. Treating the polylactic acid polymer to reduce the molecular weight to between about 35,000 to 45,000 such that it has a glass transition temperature of between about 55° C. and 58° C. and a relative viscosity of about 1.45 to about 1.95. Material can be formed into particles in a commercial hammer mill with bypass such that 90% of the initial mass results in the particles which can pass thru a sieve having a pore size of about 250 μm. During particle board formation the temperature of around 140-140 C being reached to optimally activate the adhesive; Bond strengths and throughput rates of resulting particle boards can be controlled thereafter, with variable combination of particle sizes, adhesive loading and initial moisture content.
Fireproof and Waterproof Biomass Floor and Manufacturing Method Therefor
A fireproof and waterproof biomass floor and a manufacturing method therefor. The floor comprises, in parts by weight, 80-95 parts of a wood fiber, 5-20 parts of an additive, and 0-1 part of a pigment. The additive comprises the following raw material components in percentage by weight: a metal oxide: 10-20 wt %; a hydrochloride: 10-20 wt %; a non-metal oxide: 5-10 wt %; a weak acid: 5-10 wt %; a sulfate: 1-2 wt %; a phosphate: 1-2 wt %; and water: 36-68 wt %. The manufacturing method comprises: mixing the wood fiber, the additive, and the pigment; flatly laying the obtained mixture on a base plate; performing die pressing, and standing for 3-10 days; performing demolding; subjecting the obtained demolded plate to edge cutting, drying, sanding, assembling, hot pressing, cutting, curing, slotting, and silent pad pasting on the back face. The floor has the advantages of being fireproof, ultralow in water absorption thickness expansion rate, and ultralow in formaldehyde release amount.
METHODS OF MANUFACTURING FORMALDEHYDE-FREE MOLDED PRODUCTS AND RELATED PARTS
The present invention provides a moldable mixture containing large portion of agricultural fibers and small portion of a binding agent and a flow-promoting filler material. The moldable mixture is substantially free of formaldehyde, with low moisture content and high draw ratio. The present invention also provides methods of manufacturing molded products and related parts, based on the claimed moldable mixture. Molded products (830) and related parts such as runner (810) and plank (820) with light weight, high density and more complex profile are manufactured by the claimed methods including steps of providing required materials for a moldable mixture, mixing the provided materials to form a moldable mixture, shaking the moldable mixture in preparing for compression molding and compression molding the moldable mixture to form molded products and related parts.
COMPOSITE PANELS WITH ADHESIVE AND SEPARATE FRAGMENT LAYERS
A panel and a method for manufacturing thereof where the panel includes a first layer comprising a first blend of paper fragments and plastic fragments; a second layer comprising a second blend of paper fragments and plastic fragments, wherein the paper fragments and plastic fragments of the second blend are coated with an adhesive; and a third layer comprising the first blend of paper fragments and plastic fragments, wherein the second layer is disposed between the first layer and the third layer, and wherein the first layer, the second layer, and the third layer are combined to form the panel using heat and pressure. In another embodiment, the paper fragments and plastic fragments of the first blend, not the second blend, are coated with an adhesive.
RECONSTITUTED BAMBOO BOARD INTEGRATING EMBOSSED TEXTURE DECORATION AND PROTECTIVE FUNCTIONS
The present invention discloses a reconstituted bamboo board integrating an embossed texture decoration and protective functions, comprising a reconstituted bamboo layer and a heat-pressed and cured film layer with an embossed texture decoration located on a surface of the reconstituted bamboo layer.
PRE-CONSOLIDATED FINES LAYER FOR IMPROVED ENGINEERED WOOD PRODUCTS
An engineered wood based siding, cladding or panel with a pre-consolidated fines layer (PCF) applied to the top of the main strand matrix layers to minimize telegraphing and provide an improved surface appearance. The PCF is consolidated prior to application to the surface of the strand matrix or mat, and takes the place of a loose fines layer. The PCF prevents the loss of fines into the strand matrix, effectively keeping the fines at the surface so they can effectively and efficiently function to prevent or eliminate strand telegraphing, and provide a smooth finished surface for the product.
FINES INTERFACE LAYER FOR IMPROVED ENGINEERED WOOD PRODUCTS
An engineered wood based siding, cladding or panel with a fines interface layer between the main strand matrix layers and the fines layer to minimize telegraphing and provide an improved surface appearance. The fines interface layer is applied to the surface of the strand matrix or mat prior to application of the fines layer. The FIL sits between the strand matrix and the fines layer, and prevents the loss of fines into the strand matrix. The FIL thus keeps the fines at the surface so they can effectively and efficiently function to prevent or eliminate strand telegraphing, and provide a smooth finished surface for the product.
Production of oriented strand board
A method of making a wood particle board containing sticking type resin coated wood particles wherein the top of a layup of the coated wood particles is smoothed to provide a smooth a top surface on the layup and a release agent is applied on the top surface and the so coated layup is consolidated into a board in a consolidating press under heat and pressure with the coated top surface in direct contact with a press platen.
