POTTER'S WHEEL STAND
A potter's wheel stand that includes a supporting frame and a vertically adjustable stage with a tray to support a potter's wheel is described. The potter's wheel stand can be configured in free-standing and wall-mounted configurations. The potter's wheel stand can include a backsplash, a plurality of wheels, an integrated overhead lamp, and integrated power outlets or data ports.
Jollying and jiggering carousel
A system may be used with a pottery wheel to facilitate the shaping of a workpiece. The system may have a support assembly coupled to a rotatable wheel of the pottery wheel, and a template holder that holds a template relative to the wheel. The support assembly may have a rotary coupling to which the template holder is coupled; thus, the template holder may be used to keep the template stationary as the wheel, workpiece, and support assembly rotate. The template may be used for jiggering and/or jollying, and may have a plate with a shaping surface that contacts the workpiece during relative rotation to provide the desired contour. The template may have a plate that is insertable into a slot of the template; the template may be retained by the template holder at multiple displacements from the rotatable wheel.
POTTERY WHEEL WITH THROWING ARM
A pottery wheel with an improved throwing arm that pushes the clay towards the center of the spinning plate, in an arc shaped motion, defined by four directions of motion, with the throwing arm providing an inward force towards the direction of rotation and towards the axis of rotation, that also allows for micro-adjustments to be easily made, is disclosed. Various tool accessories can then be used to open the pottery and form the pottery. The embodiments of the present invention are suitable for use by children, individuals unskilled in the art of pottery, and individuals lacking fine motor skills due to the assistance provided by the features of present embodiments, including an improved throwing arm removably attached to the housing. Embodiments of the present invention also include numerous attachments designed to work in tandem with the improved pottery wheel and throwing arm assembly.
TOOL FOR A POTTER'S WHEEL
An improved tool for use with a potter's wheel is provided, and the tool configured to attach to the spinning potter's wheel and hold a workpiece in the center thereof. The tool comprises an upper plate and a lower plate that are rotatable with respect to each other. A holding arm can extend through an arm slot in the upper plate to engage a spiral ridge of the lower plate. Relative rotation between the upper plate and the lower plate causes the holding arm to move inward or outward in a radial direction to engage a workpiece. The lower plate comprises fish-shaped apertures to engage fasteners on the potter's wheel in a manner to reduce chatter and improve the longevity of the tool.
Flexi-Bat
A flexible bat for attachment to a pottery wheel. The flexible bat containing a pre-engraved design impresses texts, patterns, or designs onto the bottom surface of clay workpieces as they are simultaneously molded on the pottery wheel. These simultaneous steps save time and eliminate the additional steps of impressing these designs to the bottom of pliant clay pieces after molding is completed on the pottery wheel.

Embodiments of the present invention also include numerous attachments designed to work in tandem with the improved pottery wheel and throwing arm assembly.
SYSTEM FOR SECURING A POTTERY BAT TO A POTTERY WHEEL HEAD
A system for securing a pottery bat to a pottery wheel is provided. The system ensures that the pottery bat is securely held to the pottery wheel and that the attachment can be appropriately tightened, eliminating any movement between the bat and pottery wheel, even when rotating at speed. In one embodiment, a pottery bat having special retention features for positively engaging the bat to the bat pins is provided. These features include one or more set-screw that impinges and tightens upon a bat pin while being secured to the bat by threads. In another embodiment, a specialized fastener is threaded to a specialized nut or receiver with the bat and pottery wheel sandwiched in between.
Mini Pottery Wheel
The present invention relates to a mini pottery wheel for shaping clay or other suitable materials to a desired shape. The clay is maintained upon a rotatable platform during shaping by a post member which is cooperatively engaged by the clay or other suitable material by a centering tool assembly to ensure that the material remains centrally positioned upon the rotatable platform. As will be appreciated, the present invention offers a fun and convenient way for users to form a variety of end products.
