Printing Method and Printing System
A printing method forms a continuous strand of building material for 3D printing of a structural part via a printing system. The printing system has a printing apparatus that dispenses building material out of the printing apparatus and shapes building material to form a strand of building material, and a discontinuous building material pump that discontinuously conveys building material for discontinuously dispensing conveyed building material out of the printing apparatus. The printing method includes the steps of: a) discontinuously conveying building material via the discontinuous building material pump and discontinuously dispensing conveyed building material out of the printing apparatus and shaping conveyed building material via the printing apparatus, and b) discontinuously moving the printing apparatus during the discontinuous conveying and the discontinuous dispensing such that the dispensed and shaped building material forms a continuous strand of building material.
Printing Method and Printing System
A printing method forms a continuous strand of building material for 3D printing of a structural part via a printing system. Devices, systems, and methods for extruding materials bearing millefiori-like patterns
One aspect of the present disclosure relates to devices for sealing gaps in an extrusion assembly to provide for a consistent extrusion. In one embodiment, a barrel-shaped sealing device with a resilient protruding edge is used to prevent extrusion material from entering gaps between the piston and the inner surface of the barrel. The sealing device includes a fastener to releasably attach the sealing device to the piston. Sealing rings are inserted into a bottom gap formed between the bottom edge of the barrel and the bottom surface of the die.
EXTRUDER
The instant invention describes an extruder for shaping clay or similarly pliable materials into desired shapes. The extruder comprises an operational section, a cassette, and a die. The operational section comprises a plunger, a means for controlling movement of the plunger, a means for supplying electricity, and a body to provide an exterior housing. The cassette, which is removably attached to the operational section, comprises a cavity for holding extrusion material through which the plunger will pass. The die comprises an aperture used to shape the extrusion material and is able to he attached to the cassette.
EXTRUDER
The instant invention describes an extruder for shaping clay or similarly pliable materials into desired shapes. The extruder comprises an operational section, a cassette, and a die. The operational section comprises a plunger, a means for controlling movement of the plunger, a means for supplying electricity, and a body to provide an exterior housing. The cassette, which is removably attached to the operational section, comprises a cavity for holding extrusion material through which the plunger will pass. The die comprises an aperture used to shape the extrusion material and is able to he attached to the cassette.
Curbing machine with hopper dasher and eliptical compaction
A concrete curb forming and extruding apparatus with wheel adjustment locks, and an adjustable slip form system shaping cementitious material into a continuous curb forced there through by an extruder which receives materials stored in a hopper with dasher. The extruder has a rotary trowel compacting member which continually forces material from the hopper into compressed concrete passing through an adjustable slip form to fill the same and form differing shaped continuous curbing underneath fences or against vertical surfaces or conventional curbing, depending upon the slip form setting.
