GAPLESS BUFFER FOR MASONRY BLOCK MANUFACTURE
An apparatus for manufacturing masonry blocks, comprising a shoe, a backup plate, a plurality of buffers disposed between the shoe and the backup plate, a plurality of snubbers disposed between the shoe and the backup plate and wherein a relaxed height of the plurality of buffers is equal to or less than a height of the plurality of snubbers.
SHAPED ABRASIVE PARTICLES WITH SHARP EDGES, METHODS OF MANUFACTURING AND ARTICLES CONTAINING THE SAME
A method of manufacturing a shaped abrasive particle is disclosed. The method includes filling a cavity of a tool with an abrasive particle precursor material. The cavity has at least an interior surface that extends downward from a tool top surface at an angle. The method also includes leveling the abrasive particle precursor material such that a top surface of the abrasive particle precursor materials is flush with the tool surface, such that a sharp portion is formed along the intersection between the sloped wall of the tool cavity and the tool surface and the sharp portion is within the same plane as the tool surface. The method also includes removing a dried abrasive particle precursor from the cavity of the tool. The abrasive particle has a sharp portion formed along the intersection between the interior surface and the tool surface.
MOULD AND ACCESSORIES THEREOF DESTINED FOR THE FORMING OF AN ORTHOPEDIC MODULAR SPACER
A mould (1) and accessories thereof for the forming of an orthopaedic spacer made of medical cement, defining a moulding cavity (2) delimited by a moulding surface (3) configured to impart a pre-established shape to the medical cement and to create the orthopaedic spacer, wherein at least one sector (6) of the forming mould (1) defining at least one portion of the moulding surface (3) is made with a thermoplastic copolymer based material.
Prefabricated mold for constructing curbs
A prefabricated form for use in constructing a casting cured concrete curb having a plurality of engaging pieces in which adjacent engaging pieces are abutted. Each of the engaging pieces has a fixing rod insertion hole formed therein. A plurality of spacer insertion holes are formed longitudinally and aligned respectively with the fixing rod insertion holes. The plurality of plate-shaped lower spacers are received respectively of the plurality of spacer insertion holes. Fixing rods are respectively inserted into the fixing rod insertion hole so as to engage the plate-shaped lower spacers. A plurality of upper spacers are engaged with the upper ends of the fixing rods so as to fix the engaging pieces in spaced relation to each other.
Cement forms having pin connected form sections
A form for curable construction materials, comprising an elongated, substantially planar wall having a selected thickness, the wall having inner and outer surfaces, a flange region extending from the wall, the flange region having a flange substantially running the length of the wall, wherein a bore substantially running the length of the wall is formed adjacent the wall and the flange, the flange region further having first and second angled surfaces extending therefrom, wherein a channel extending to the bore is formed between the first and second angled surfaces, wherein one form may be assembled with other forms using pins inserted into respective bores to create a containment system for construction materials.
SECTIONAL REINFORCED CONCRETE SEAWALL
A seawall section includes a central hub having an axis extending in a longitudinal direction and three circumferentially spaced walls extending radially from the central hub. Each of the walls is made of cast concrete reinforced with a rebar cage having a plurality of longitudinally spaced pairs of parallel rebars extending radially from the central hub to an end rebar that extends perpendicularly relative to the parallel rebars. Each end rebar is connected to radially outer ends of one of the pairs of parallel rebars. A seawall comprises a plurality of the seawall sections connected together end-to-end with a cable, and connecting plates fastened to adjacent sections. A form for manufacturing the seawall section encloses connected rebars and is filled with concrete.
Forming a preform into a shaped body
A manufacturing method is disclosed herein. The method includes arranging a preform with a plurality of clamping assemblies, the plurality of clamping assemblies disposed along ends of the preform; and forming the preform into a shaped body, the forming including: incrementally tensioning the preform around a surface of an inner mold line using the plurality of clamping assemblies; and drawing the preform into a set of forming beads of the inner mold line.
Process for producing a cured 3D product
The invention is directed to a process for producing a cured 3D product comprising the following steps: (a) providing a form negative mould of the 3D product comprising of one or two formed plastic sheets as obtained by thermoforming corresponding with the shape of the 3D product; (b) adding a liquid curable composition to the mould such that the inner surface of the mould is covered by the curable composition; and (c) solidifying the curable composition wherein a solidified layer or body is formed having the shape of the 3D product; wherein the cured 3D product is a radiation cured 3D product; and wherein the step (c) a radiation curable composition is solidified by radiation through the plastic sheet of the mould to form a solidified layer having the shape of the 3D product.
INTERLOCKING BLOCK MOLDS
This disclosure provides interlocking blocks molds that can be connected on any side to form an interlocking block mold, interlocking block, structure, wall, foundation, floor, building, flotation device, gardening structure, artificial coral reefs, or toy. The interlocking blocks molds typically comprise center outward protrusions and connecting outward protrusions on each side and can be connected with hardware through the connecting outward protrusions or with a connection coupling on the exterior of the outward protrusions. The center outward protrusions allow for materials such as pipes, wires, conduit, and rebar to pass through interlocked block molds. Connected block molds can also be filled with fortifying material to strengthen the structure. Sides of connected block molds exterior protrusions can be covered with faceplates to direct flow of fortifying material and aid in the creation of desired configurations. Also provided are connection couplings for connecting sides of the interlocking blocks molds.
