MOBILE MIXING DEVICES, SYSTEMS AND RELATED METHODS
Mobile mixing devices, mobile mixing systems, and related methods are provided. A mobile mixing device can include a frame and a mixing drum securable to the frame. The mixing drum can include a body that forms an internal cavity and can have a forward end and a bottom end. The mixing drum can also include a mouth at the forward end of the body that provides access to the internal cavity of the mixing drum. The mobile mixing device can include a heater support arm having a heater secured to an end of the heater support arm that is distal from the mixing drum. The mixing drum can be used to process cement material when the heater support arm is in a stow-away position or asphalt when the heater support arm is in a heating position with the heater facing into the mouth of the mixing drum.
Holding a bucket stationary
Apparatus and associated methodology contemplating holding a bucket stationary while a user mixes a substance in the bucket. A rigid base is configured to support the bucket upright upon a predetermined holding zone, and supports a selectively rotatable pivot member. A paddle has a proximal end attached to the pivot member and extends therefrom downwardly toward the base on one side of the pivot member. A foot-actuated lever has a proximal end attached to the pivot member and extends downwardly toward the base on the opposing side of the pivot member.
CONCRETE MIXER
A mixer for mixing concrete components comprises a chassis and a mixing drum mounted for rotation with respect to the chassis and having an open end. The chassis includes a lifting structure extending beyond the open end of the drum and a support structure spanning the open end of the drum. The mixer is moveable between an inverted orientation in which the open end of the mixing drum faces generally downwards and a mixing orientation in which the open end of the mixing drum faces generally upwards. The lifting structure is arranged to engage with a container with the mixer in the inverted orientation, and to lift and invert the container upon movement of the mixer to the mixing orientation. The support structure is arranged to support the inverted container above the mixing drum when the mixer is in the mixing orientation. Also, a method for producing a concrete mix.
Concrete mixing machine
A concrete mixing machine for indoor preparation of fluid concrete for disposition as flooring. The concrete mixing machine includes a mixer tank capable of mixing of twenty-three bags of concrete concurrently. Mixing propellers inside of the mixer tank attach to a shaft, whereby a hydraulic propeller drive motor rotationally moves the shaft, and the mixing propellers mix the concrete. The concrete mixing machine produces a large batch of concrete, and the concrete mixing machine moves and deposits the concrete for application using a flow control mechanism with a flow control mixer attached to the mixer tank that regulates concrete flow through a valve and chute and synchronizes with a flow control drive-wheel. The concrete mixing machine is hydraulically operated and self-propelled. The concrete mixing machine does not emit gases harmful to indoor air quality and thus is environmentally friendly.
Portable mixer for hydrating and mixing cementitious mix in a continuous process
A portable mixer includes a frame, a hopper for receiving therein dry cementitious mix, and a chute rigidly coupled to the hopper that communicates with the hopper via an aperture. The hopper and chute are pivotally coupled to the frame. The portable mixer further includes an auger extending from the hopper into the chute via the aperture, a water supply system configured to apply water to cementitious mix, and a motor coupled to the auger and configured to rotate the auger to mix the dry cementitious mix with the water.
PORTABLE MIXING APPARATUS FOR MIXING COMPONENTS
A portable mixing apparatus for mixing components is disclosed. The apparatus comprises a container for receiving components to be mixed, a frame for supporting the container in a first orientation for mixing components and a driving assembly couplable with the container for rotating the container. The frame comprises: a first handle for gripping with a first hand of a user, the first handle being disposed above a centre of mass of the portable mixing apparatus, when orientated in the first orientation, the first handle extending forwardly of the apparatus over the container; a second handle for gripping with a second hand of the user while the first hand grips the first handle, the second handle being disposed below the centre of mass of the portable mixing apparatus when orientated in the first orientation, the first and second handle being arranged to enable the user to carry the mixing apparatus and re-orientate the apparatus between the first orientation and a second orientation for emptying the components from the container.
CONCRETE MIXING MACHINE
The disclosure herein describes a concrete mixing machine for indoor preparation of fluid concrete for disposition as flooring. The concrete mixing machine is capable of mixing of 23 bags of concrete concurrently. The concrete mixing machine produces a large batch of concrete, and the concrete mixing machine moves and deposits the concrete for application. The concrete mixing machine is hydraulically operated and self-propelled. The concrete mixing machine does not emit gases harmful to indoor air quality and thus is environmentally friendly.
