MIXER AUTONOMY MODE
A mixer vehicle system includes a mixer vehicle and an autonomous control system. The mixer vehicle includes a chassis and a vehicle body. The vehicle body includes a plurality of subcomponents including a cabin, a mixing drum, a charge hopper, and a chute. The autonomous control system is configured to automate an operation of the mixer vehicle. The autonomous control system includes a sensor and a controller. The sensor is configured to detect an event and generate a signal. The controller is configured to receive the signal and generate an output. The output includes the operation of the mixer vehicle. The operation of the mixer vehicle includes at least one of: (i) moving at least one of the plurality of subcomponents to a desired position; (ii) activating or deactivating at least one mode of operation; and (iii) providing an alert to an operator of the mixer vehicle.
CONCRETE MIXER
A mixer for mixing concrete components comprises a chassis and a mixing drum mounted for rotation with respect to the chassis and having an open end. The chassis includes a lifting structure extending beyond the open end of the drum and a support structure spanning the open end of the drum. The mixer is moveable between an inverted orientation in which the open end of the mixing drum faces generally downwards and a mixing orientation in which the open end of the mixing drum faces generally upwards. The lifting structure is arranged to engage with a container with the mixer in the inverted orientation, and to lift and invert the container upon movement of the mixer to the mixing orientation. The support structure is arranged to support the inverted container above the mixing drum when the mixer is in the mixing orientation. Also, a method for producing a concrete mix.
WASTE PLASTIC CONVERSION
Waste plastic can be converted into rock for decorative and utilitarian applications. A combination of sand and waste plastic is added into a tumbling chamber, and the tumbling chamber is rotated. The combination of sand and waste plastic is heated while rotating the tumbling chamber to form conglomerates. When a desired size of the conglomerates is achieved, the heating is stopped. Dry cement is then added to the tumbling chamber while continuing to rotate the tumbling chamber.
