The electric motor is configured to drive at least one of the front axle, the rear axle, or a component of the electrified vehicle. The trailer includes a trailer frame, a trailer axle coupled to the trailer frame, and an energy storage device supported by the trailer frame. The energy storage device includes a plurality of batteries. The energy storage device configured to power the electric motor.
MIXER DRUM LOAD DETECTION SYSTEM
A load measurement system for a mixer comprising a mixing drum configured to contain and mix concrete, a cradle adjacent to the mixing drum and configured to receive the mixing drum, and a load measurement device adjacent to the cradle and configured to determine the changes to a material property of the cradle due to the force exerted on the cradle by the load in the mixing drum. The load measurement system determines the amount of the load of concrete in the mixing drum based on the measured change to the material property of the cradle, which may include one or more of a material deformation, displacement, stress, strain, or the vibration of the cradle.
Electric concrete vehicle systems and methods
A concrete mixer vehicle includes a chassis, a tractive assembly coupled to the chassis and configured to propel the concrete mixer vehicle, a mixing drum rotatably coupled to the chassis, and an electromagnetic device configured to convert electrical energy to mechanical energy to drive the tractive assembly. In a first configuration, a first battery module is removably coupled to the chassis and configured to provide the electrical energy to the electromagnetic device, and in a second configuration, the first battery module is removed from the chassis and replaced with a second battery module, the second battery module removably coupled to the chassis and configured to provide the electrical energy to the electromagnetic device.
POWERED VEHICLE COMBINING DUST COLLECTION, OVERLAY MIXING AND SPREADING
A concrete/cement resurfacing machine integrates a dust collection subsystem and an overlay mixing/distribution subsystem, enabling a single operator to steer the machine to a desired floor location and deposit mixed, cementitious overlay material. The combination of dust collection and overlay mixing saves considerable time and achieves improved results, eliminating the need for separate vacuum machines while reducing the risk that dust will be released as bags of dry ingredients are added to the mixing tank. A single propane engine powers a hydraulic pump, with fluid being routed to three separate hydraulic motors with associated control valves to provide for forward/reverse locomotion, bidirectional paddle mixing, and vacuum generation. The dust collection system is preferably a two-stage system including a vacuum collection tank and a HEPA filter.
Electric concrete vehicle systems and methods
A concrete mixer truck includes a chassis, a plurality of tractive assemblies coupled to the chassis, a mixing drum rotatably coupled to the chassis, the mixing drum defining an internal volume configured to contain material and an aperture through which the material can enter and exit the internal volume, an energy storage device positioned at a rear end of the chassis and configured to provide electrical energy, and an electromagnetic device electrically coupled to the energy storage device, where the electromagnetic device is configured to receive the electrical energy from the energy storage device and provide mechanical energy to drive at least one of the plurality of tractive assemblies to propel the concrete mixer truck.
CONCRETE MIXING CARRIER
Provided is a concrete mixing carrier, comprising a vehicle chassis and a mixing drum provided thereon. A drum housing of the mixing drum is cubic, supported horizontally on the vehicle chassis, and able to form an unloading state where a front portion is higher and a rear portion is lower; the mixing drum forms a closed drum housing; a feed inlet and a discharge outlet are respectively provided on a rear end plate; a rotary inner drum formed by splicing movable blades is provided in the drum body, and adjacent movable blades have there between a movement margin for rotation; each strip-shaped movable blade is supported at both ends by paired rollers respectively; stirring blades overhang towards inside of the drum body, backs are provided with drive racks, and drive gears, mutually engaged with the drive racks, are provided at corresponding positions of the drum body using a supporting bracket.
Support structure for concrete mixer vehicle
A concrete mixer vehicle comprises a chassis, an engine, a cab, a drum assembly, a front roller pedestal, a transmission mounting bracket assembly, and a rear pedestal. The chassis has a frame. The drum assembly includes a mixing drum, a drum driver, and a hopper assembly. The front roller pedestal is configured to support a front end of the mixing drum. The front roller pedestal includes a support member configured to provide support to the front roller pedestal in a longitudinal direction with respect to a longitudinal axis of the frame. The rear pedestal is configured to support a rear end of the mixing drum. The rear pedestal includes a first bar-pin member and a second bar-pin member configured to couple the rear pedestal in a first installation position or a second installation position based on a length of the mixing drum.
DIRECT CHARGE CONCRETE MIXER
A concrete mixer vehicle includes a chassis, a mixing drum assembly, and a controller. The mixing drum assembly includes a mixing drum, a mixing element, a collector, and a chute. The mixing drum defines an aperture and a volume. The mixing element is positioned within the volume and is coupled to the mixing drum. The controller is configured to determine a state of the concrete mixer vehicle, determine a state of a mixture delivery system of a batch plant, obtain and apply a setpoint value to an actuator of the concrete mixer vehicle or the mixture delivery system, and activate the mixture delivery system to output material through the outlet of the mixture delivery system such that the material is deposited directly into the volume of the mixing drum to thereby directly charge the concrete mixer vehicle with material.
