Device for producing hot coated products having a branched outlet and external mixer and method for producing corresponding hot coated products
A device for manufacturing hot-mix coated materials includes an oven (1) having an enclosure (2) provided towards its two opposite ends with a main inlet (3) designed to receive granular materials and with a main outlet; and a heater (10) defining a combustion section (5) inside the enclosure (2). The enclosure (2) starting with the combustion section (5) and continuing with a drying section (6), and then with a mixing section (7). The device is further provided with a bypass outlet (11) and with an external mixer (12) that is connected to the bypass outlet (11), which outlet is fitted with a blocking system (15) allowing granular materials to pass towards the inlet (13) of the external mixer (12) and a closed position allowing granular materials to pass towards the mixing section (7).
VOLUMETRIC MIXER
A volumetric mixer is provided including a holding section adapted to store one or more materials simultaneously, one or more conveyors disposed in the holding section, a mixing section, one or more heating units disposed in the mixing section, and a control unit. The conveyors are operable to convey materials from the holding section to the mixing section and the one or more conveyors are operable to be individually controlled by the control unit to deliver a pre-determined amount of each material from the holding section to the mixing section.
METHODS AND COMPOSITIONS FOR DELIVERY OF CARBON DIOXIDE
Provided herein are methods, apparatus, and systems for delivering carbon dioxide as a mixture of solid and gaseous carbon dioxide to a destination.
WASTE PLASTIC CONVERSION
Waste plastic can be converted into rock for decorative and utilitarian applications. A combination of sand and waste plastic is added into a tumbling chamber, and the tumbling chamber is rotated. The combination of sand and waste plastic is heated while rotating the tumbling chamber to form conglomerates. When a desired size of the conglomerates is achieved, the heating is stopped. Dry cement is then added to the tumbling chamber while continuing to rotate the tumbling chamber.
Mixer, method of mixing raw material for powder metallurgy binder for injection moulding composition
A mixer for ceramic feedstock pellets includes a tank, a mixing device within the tank, and a heat exchanger including a cooler for cooling of the content of this tank. A controller controls the heat exchanger which includes a heater arranged to heat the content of this tank to a temperature comprised between a lower temperature (TINF) and a higher temperature (TSUP) stored in a memory for a specific mixture. The heater exchanges energy with a heat exchanger and mixing temperature maintenance circuit, external to this tank. The thermal inertia of this circuit is higher than that of this fully loaded tank.
System, method, apparatus, means, and computer program product for recycling asphalt shingles
A method for producing an asphalt mix suitable for use as an asphalt pavement is provided. The method may include receiving in a preliminary mixing unit an asphalt shingle material input from a first feed system and a fluid asphalt material input from a second feed system, and heating and melting the asphalt shingle material and the fluid asphalt material in the preliminary mixing unit and then agitating the same to produce a molten asphalt. The method may include receiving in a primary mixing unit recycled asphalt material input from a third feed system and particulate material input from a fourth feed system, and mixing the molten asphalt from the preliminary mixing unit in the primary mixing unit with the same to produce an output of said asphalt mix. The method may include recirculating, in an intermediate tank, the molten asphalt.
SYSTEM, METHOD, APPARATUS, MEANS, AND COMPUTER PROGRAM PRODUCT FOR RECYCLING ASPHALT SHINGLES
A system for producing an asphalt mix output suitable for use as an asphalt pavement is provided. The system may include a preliminary mixing unit configured to mix asphalt shingles with hot fluid asphalt to melt the asphalt shingles. The molten asphalt formed from the asphalt shingles and the hot fluid asphalt may be mixed with aggregate material and/or recycled asphalt material to form an asphalt mix output. An intermediate tank may store the molten asphalt prior to mixing with the aggregate material and/or the recycled asphalt material

Mixer, method of mixing raw material for powder metallurgy binder for injection moulding composition
A mixer for ceramic feedstock pellets with a tank, a mixing shaft, and a heat exchanger including a cooler for the cooling of the content of this tank is provided. A controller controls the heat exchanger which includes a heater arranged to heat the content of this tank to a temperature comprised between a lower temperature (TINF) and a higher temperature (TSUP) stored in a memory for a specific mixture, and the heater exchanges energy with a heat exchange and mixing temperature maintenance circuit, external to this tank, and wherein the thermal inertia of this circuit is higher than that of this fully loaded tank. The invention also concerns a method for mixing raw material for powder metallurgy, implementing a specific injection molding composition and a specific binder.
Method and apparatus for making asphalt concrete using aggregate material from a plurality of material streams
A combination of components is provided for use in making asphalt concrete from a plurality of aggregate material streams. The combination includes an indirect dryer for heating aggregate material from a first material stream without directly exposing said first stream material to hot gases of combustion. The combination also includes a mixer for mixing aggregate material from the first material stream, aggregate material that has not been heated in the indirect dryer from a second material stream, and a binder component to produce asphalt concrete.
