20170341264 · 2017-11-30 ·

An environmental-friendly mortar robot comprises a first, second, third, and fourth container module. The first container module (2) consists of a sand midway silo, a weighing system, a stirring system, and a control system; the second container module (3) consists of a cement silo, a spiral conveying machine, a material level meter and a water storage tank; the third container module (4) consists of a fly-ash silo, a spiral conveying machine, a material level meter and an air storage tank with an air compressor; the fourth container module (5) consists of a sand storage bin, an elevator, a material level meter and an additive storage box. While transporting, the first container module can be respectively detached into four functional modules which are directly put onto a transporting vehicle together with other three container modules for transportation.

Self-Cleaning Concrete Mix Monitoring

System and method of the invention involves use of a sensor-containing body which is mounted and/or rotatably disposed along the longitudinal rotational axis of a concrete mixer drum at the close end, the sensor-containing body being connected to a conduit for introducing water, chemical admixture, gas, and/or cleansing fluid through the closed end of the drum into the mixer drum. Numerous heretofore unrealized combinations of advantages and benefits are provided within the concrete industry by the invention.

Expanding nozzle for component additions in a concrete truck, and method and system for use of same

A nozzle, including a support member and a nozzle boot surrounding at least a portion of the support member, the nozzle boot having a nozzle boot inlet and a nozzle boot outlet spaced from the nozzle boot inlet and a volume between the nozzle boot inlet and the nozzle boot outlet, the nozzle boot being expandable upon the introduction of fluid into the volume, and collapsible upon withdrawal of fluid from the volume. Also disclosed is a method of removing unwanted concrete from a surface by creating tensile stress to concrete adhered to that surface by causing the surface to expand, and a system for injecting fluid (s) into a rotating drum.

NON-HYDRATION STRENGTH IN CEMENTITIOUS COMPOSITIONS

Described are compositions and methods for controlled strength development in a hydratable cementitious material, and more particularly to the use of polymerizable monomer components, which are initiated and activated by a redox pair which are mixed in controlled fashion, for enhancing non-hydration strength within the matrix of the plastic hydratable cementitious material before setting of the cementitious material begins. Exemplary applications include minimizing pressures on formwork for high fluid ready-mix applications, enhancing support and bonding properties for integrated concrete slab work and other sequential applications, or facilitating speedy 3D printing applications, among other unique possibilities.

METHODS AND COMPOSITIONS FOR DELIVERY OF CARBON DIOXIDE

Provided herein are methods, apparatus, and systems for delivering carbon dioxide as a mixture of solid and gaseous carbon dioxide to a destination.

Portable mixer for hydrating and mixing cementitious mix in a continuous process

A portable mixer includes a frame, a hopper for receiving therein dry cementitious mix, and a chute rigidly coupled to the hopper that communicates with the hopper via an aperture. The hopper and chute are pivotally coupled to the frame. The portable mixer further includes an auger extending from the hopper into the chute via the aperture, a water supply system configured to apply water to cementitious mix, and a motor coupled to the auger and configured to rotate the auger to mix the dry cementitious mix with the water.

An interlayer mixing apparatus for texturing man-made stone slabs has a pressing assembly, a coloring component, a stirring assembly, a moving assembly, and a control system. A conveyor belt sequentially conveys a slab to working areas of the pressing assembly, the coloring component, and the stirring assembly which are separately connected to the control system. The pressing assembly presses the slab before the pigment and the slab are stirred, so that the texture boundary on the final product is clearer and more complete. The control system moves the moving assembly to position the stirring assembly according to a texture route, while the stirring assembly performs stirring on a part of the surface of the slab, to stir a pigment layer with a raw material layer on the slab.
