A mobile cement batch mixing plant includes at least one slurry tank, a cement storage tank, at least one slurry pump and at least one clean pump supported on a transportable frame. The slurry tanks and cement storage tank are connected by a plumbing system. The flow of water and cement slurry between the tanks and within the plumbing system is controlled by a series of valves and pump controls. A cement slurry is formed by adding water and cement to the slurry tank through a fluid vortex within the slurry tank. The cement slurry can be pumped out of the slurry tank into a well.

A waterborne facility on a body of water includes a primary spoolable pipe and a pump. The end of the primary spoolable pipe may be guided from the waterborne facility to a location proximate to a selected site. The pump may be used to discharge a flowable material through the primary spoolable pipe. The waterborne facility may include a ready-mix concrete preparation system. However, the waterborne facility may deliver any flowable material to a selected site, which may be a land surface, underground, on a water surface, or underwater. Illustrative flowable materials include seawater, grout, cement, and sediment/mud.

The mobile unit comprises a water storage tank, at least one cement mixing barrel for mixing a cement slurry, a progressive cavity pump for pumping the cement slurry, and a hydraulic hose for connecting to a hydraulic power source to provide power to the cement mixing barrel and the progressive cavity pump. The mobile unit may also contain downhole tools needed for well abandonment, including a well cleaning tool, a cementing tool, a hydraulic packer, and more.

A mobile industrial mixing apparatus includes a frame, a mixing chamber, a motor, a storage bin, and a transport mechanism. The mixing chamber is coupled to the frame and includes a housing, a top end, and a bottom end, and includes a mixing mechanism disposed within the mixing chamber, the mixing mechanism mixing an industrial powdered bulk material with a liquid. A discharge opening allows a mixture of the industrial powdered bulk material and the liquid to leave the mixing chamber. The motor is coupled to the mixing mechanism and drives the mixing mechanism. The storage bin is coupled to the frame and is disposed proximate to the bottom end of the mixing chamber, the storage bin receiving the mixture of the industrial powdered bulk material and the liquid. The transport mechanism is coupled to the frame and transports the mixing chamber and the storage bin.

A system for preparing a dry process material includes a sealed container that holds and seals the dry process material therein and prevents airborne dust or particles from the dry process material from escaping the sealed container. Sealed processing equipment receives the dry process material from the sealed container and prevents the airborne dust or particles from escaping the sealed processing equipment. A sealed connection sealingly couples the sealed container to the sealed processing equipment and prevents the airborne dust or particles from escaping while transferring the dry process material. A sealed transfer conduit is sealingly coupled to and extends from the sealed processing equipment.

A quality assurance system for mixing a slurry comprising at least water or other liquid and at least one flowable wet or dry mass, such as cement, sand or other suitable component, has computerized control over the loading of ingredients and has an accurate and broadly variable speed control of the loading of the ingredients. The mixing chamber has scales that provide a signal indicating the current weight of an ingredient in the mixing chamber. The broadly variable control of the loading rate of the ingredients allows more accurate control of the final weight of each ingredient added. A damping period allows system vibrations to dissipate, allowing highly accurate weights to be measured. Accurate records of the addition of each ingredient are maintained using the internal computer that controls the invention.
