Systems and methods for cutting piles wherein, for example, a pile cutting device is attached to the end of an articulated arm of an excavator, the pile cutting device having a set of grasping arms that hold the pile and a set of saw blades that are linearly advanced to cut the pile in a single stroke. The saw blades are offset so that the cutting paths of the blades overlap. The saw blades may be positioned at the ends of telescoping arms that are coupled to a linearly movable frame. A single hydraulic unit moves the frame along a central rail. The frame is coupled to one or more cables and pulleys so that the travel of the telescopic arms is twice that of the frame.

A cutting apparatus for cutting corner pieces formed of stone or other materials for use as building faces or for cutting flat pieces is disclosed herein. The cutting apparatus includes a frame with a first and a second conveyor operatively attached to the frame. The first and the second conveyors are configured to carry a workpiece from a first end of the frame to the second end of the frame. The first conveyor is disposed at an angle of about 45 degrees to a ground surface supporting the cutting apparatus. The second conveyor is disposed at an angle of about 45 degrees to the ground surface supporting the cutting apparatus, wherein the second conveyor is positioned perpendicularly to the first conveyor so as to form a V-shaped channel therewith. The cutting apparatus further includes a first cutting blade operatively attached to the frame and positioned generally parallel to the first conveyor and a second cutting blade operatively attached to the frame and positioned generally parallel to the second conveyor.

The natural stone panel includes at least one cavity and at least one light transmitting side; any of the cavities is correspondingly provided at the back side of the at least one light transmitting side, and any of the cavities extends to an edge of the natural stone panel and forms at least one opening; the light source is provided at the opening of the natural stone panel; the light-guide board is placed in the cavity and acquires light from the light source, and a gap between the light-guide board and the inner wall of the cavity is filled with a curable transparent adhesive resin. According to the present invention, the light-guide board is utilized to guide light, such that a point light source is changed into a planar light source which can emit light uniformly.
