CARBON FIBER RECYCLING DEVICE
The present disclosure relates to a carbon fiber recycling device for recycling carbon fiber from a carbon fiber polymer composite by using a microwave. The carbon fiber recycling device includes at least one microwave supplying unit and a cavity. By radiating the microwave on the carbon fiber polymer composite, energy of the microwave is quickly absorbed by the carbon fiber to quickly increase a temperature of the carbon fiber, and the carbon fiber polymer composite is effectively and quickly decomposed to remove most polymer matrix of the carbon fiber polymer composite, so as to achieve the objective of recycling the carbon fiber indeed.
Carbon fiber recycling apparatus, system and method
A method and apparatus for obtaining carbon fiber from carbon fiber waste (e.g., pre-preg and CFP waste). The method and apparatus use an oxygen free pyrolytic process to volatilize the epoxy resin or other matrix in which the fibers are held to liberate the fibers therefrom. The reactor has a counterflow such that the carbon fibers are moved in one direction and the off gasses are moved in the opposite direction. A combination of steam at the reactor outlet and vacuum pressure at the reactor inlet create the counter flow.
PROCESSES FOR RECYCLING CARPET AND PRODUCTS OF SUCH PROCESSES
Methods for the recycling of carpet are disclosed that produce clean face fiber suitable for industrial use. The methods allow the recovery of face fiber material, for example a polyester or a polyamide, from carpets that includes a face fiber material and a backing material, and include the steps of heating the carpet to a temperature lower than the melting point of the face fiber material, but higher than the initial thermal decomposition temperature of the backing material, for a time and at a temperature sufficient to thermally decompose, pyrolyze, or oxidize at least a portion of the backing material, rendering the backing material friable, that is more friable than the untreated backing; and applying mechanical force to the carpet so as to liberate the friable backing material from the face fiber material.
PROCESS FOR THE RECOVERY OF RAW MATERIAL FROM WASTE PRODUCTS
The process (1) for the recovery of raw material from waste products comprises at least the phases of: supply (A) of one skein to be treated (3) composed of a harmonic steel fraction and a non-ferrous fraction; pre-treatment (F) of the skein to be treated (3) to separate the harmonic steel fraction from the non-ferrous fraction to obtain one treated skein (3b), comprising one step of mechanical separation (F1) of the harmonic steel fraction from the non-ferrous fraction; heat treatment (B) of the pre-treated skein (3 a) to obtain one treated skein (3b), the phase of heat treatment (B) comprising a step of inductive exposure (B1) of the pre-treated skein (3a) to one time-varying magnetic field, the step of inductive exposure (B1) being adapted to raise the temperature of the pre-treated skein (3 a) to one working temperature below 800 C.; post-treatment (E) of the treated skein (3b).
Method for detaching substrates bonded by polyurethane adhesive
Method for detaching two substrates bonded by a polyurethane adhesive, comprising the steps of: (1) treating a first substrate and a second substrate bonded by a polyurethane adhesive with a debonding agent comprising lactic acid at a temperature from 40 C. to 90 C., and (2) separating the first substrate and the second substrate from the polyurethane adhesive.
Method of recycling carbon fiber
Provided is a method of recycling carbon fibers that allows obtaining continuous carbon fibers. The present embodiment is a method of recycling carbon fibers that includes preparing a carbon fiber reinforced plastic molded product including carbon fiber reinforced plastic containing carbon fibers and a resin and drawing the carbon fiber reinforced plastic while performing a heating treatment on the carbon fiber reinforced plastic molded product. A temperature of the heating treatment is equal to or above a glass-transition temperature of the resin and below a thermal decomposition start temperature, and the temperature is below a thermal degradation temperature of the carbon fibers.
