BAG, METHOD, AND MACHINE FOR PRODUCING A FOAM-IN-BAG DUNNAGE MATERIAL
A bag for producing a foam-in-bag dunnage material comprises a closed edge portion and, in a non-sealed state of the bag, an open edge portion, the closed and open edge portions delimiting an inner bag volume. The invention proposes that a bag structure of the bag comprises a mixing chamber which is adapted to receive foam precursor substances, which is arranged within the inner bag volume, which is at least partially and initially delimited against the remainder of the inner bag volume, and which in the non-sealed state of the bag is connected to the open edge portion.
MACHINE FOR PRODUCING A FOAM-IN-BAG DUNNAGE MATERIAL
A machine for producing a foam-in-bag dunnage material comprises first and second foam precursor inlets for first and second foam precursor substances, a first mixing chamber for mixing the first and second foam precursor substances into a first mixture, and a first dispenser for dispensing the first mixture. It is proposed that the machine comprises a branch-off-device fluidly arranged between the first and second foam precursor inlets and the first mixing chamber and having first and second foam precursor outlets towards the first mixing chamber and third and fourth foam precursor outlets towards an interface device, the interface device being adapted to fluidly connect to a second mixing chamber for mixing the first and second foam precursor substances into a second mixture.
AEROSOL CAN CONFIGURATION
An aerosol can configuration includes an outer can, an inner container and a spray head with a discharge element. The spray head has an outlet valve connected to the interior of the outer can and an outlet valve connected to the interior of the inner container. The two outlet valves are opened jointly by pressing on the spray head, so that the contents of the outer can and the contents of the inner container jointly enter the discharge element. To form a foam, the outer can contains at least 30-70% by weight isocyanate, in particular diphenylmethane 4,4′-diisocyanate, 3-15% by weight polyol with an OH number of less than 300, and 5-30% by weight liquid gas at a critical temperature of ≥+70° C. At least 5-30% by weight polyol with an OH number of more than 300, and 1-10% by weight liquid gas with a critical temperature of ≥+70° C. are contained in the inner container.
PLURAL COMPONENT SPRAY GUN SYSTEM
A spray gun for a plural component system is provided. The spray gun includes a first component delivery line and a second component delivery line. The spray gun also includes a nozzle, configured to receive and mix a first component received from the first component delivery line with a second component received from the second component delivery line. The spray gun also includes an air purge system configured to, when the spray gun is in a non-actuated position, purge the nozzle of the first and second components and, when the spray gun is in an actuated position, aid in atomization of the mixture of the first and second components.
Metal foam dispenser and method of use for polyurethane foam dispensing
A foam dispenser having a metal housing has a spool valve socket therein. A metal handle extends from the housing. A spool valve is disposable within the spool valve socket. A trigger couplable to the spool valve enables the spool valve to be rotated between open and closed orientations within the housing. The spool valve has internal channels for selectively passing liquids through the spool valve in the open orientation and not in the closed orientation. The spool valve also has a channel for selectively passing a gas through the spool valve in both the open and closed orientations.
Systems and methods for status indication of fluid delivery systems
A fluid delivery system includes a status indicator and control system comprising a processor. The processor is configured to receive a first signal indicative of a first status of operations of a spray application system. The processor is further configured to provide to an operator of a spray gun, via a display system, a visualization representative of the first status of operations, and techniques to control the fluid delivery system, wherein the spray application system is configured to deliver at least one fluid to the spray gun during operations.
Device and method for producing reaction plastics
A device and a method for producing reaction plastics, including a first metering device with a first metering unit and a second metering unit, each of which is suitable for receiving and dispensing a first mixing component in a metered manner, a second metering device which is suitable for receiving and dispensing a second mixing component in a metered manner, and a mixing device which is suitable for receiving and mixing the first mixing component dispensed by the first metering unit and/or the second metering unit of the first metering device and the second mixing component dispensed by the second metering device. For this purpose the first metering unit and the second metering unit are connected to the mixing device such that prior to beginning the mixing process, the first mixing component can be brought to an operating state required for the mixing process, in particular an operating pressure, by guiding the first mixing component from the first metering unit to the second metering unit via the mixing device.
