AGITATING/DEFOAMING APPARATUS

An agitating/defoaming apparatus adjusts a rotation speed and, even with respect to a material high in viscosity, prevents or reduces an increase in temperature of the material during agitating/defoaming. The agitating/defoaming apparatus includes a plurality of container holders, each holding a container. A revolution member supports each container holder so as to be rotatable, is provided in such a way as to be rotatable on a first rotational shaft, and causes each container holder to revolve around the first rotational shaft. A first drive rotationally drives the revolution member. A control unit performs drive control. An annular outer ring is arranged to surround the container holders in such a way as to be in abutting contact with an outer circumferential portion of each container holder. An outer ring rotation mechanism rotates the outer ring with a central axis of the outer ring set coincident with that of the revolution member.

EXTRUDER PROVIDED WITH VENTS

An extruder (1) includes a cylinder (2) and a screw (3), and one or more front vents (8a) are provided on the cylinder (2) upstream of a hopper (5) and downstream of a rear vent (7). The cylinder (2) is provided with, between the hopper (5) and the rear vent (7), a liquid supply device (9) for spraying water into the cylinder (2) to cool an interior thereof and a liquid discharge port (12) that is opened in a lower portion of the cylinder (2).

EXTRUDER PROVIDED WITH VENTS

An extruder (1) includes a cylinder (2) and a screw (3), and one or more front vents (8a) are provided on the cylinder (2) upstream of a hopper (5) and downstream of a rear vent (7). The cylinder (2) is provided with, between the hopper (5) and the rear vent (7), a liquid supply device (9) for spraying water into the cylinder (2) to cool an interior thereof and a liquid discharge port (12) that is opened in a lower portion of the cylinder (2).

A kneading apparatus includes a processor, and a extruder. The extruder includes a screw. The screw includes a screw main body. A conveyance portion, a barrier portion, and a path are provided at places of the screw main body. In at least one of the places, the path is provided inside the screw main body, and includes an entrance and an exit. The raw materials, pressure on which is increased by the barrier portion, flow in from the entrance. The raw materials flowing in from the entrance flow through the path toward the exit. The exit is positioned to be remote from the entrance in an axial direction.

A kneading apparatus includes a processor, and a extruder. The extruder includes a screw. The screw includes a screw main body. A conveyance portion, a barrier portion, and a path are provided at places of the screw main body. The raw materials, pressure on which is increased by the barrier portion, flow in from the entrance. The raw materials flowing in from the entrance flow through the path toward the exit. A planetary extruder for producing and processing polymers includes a degassing section. The extruder includes a housing and a bushing arranged therein. The bushing has an internal toothing with a pitch diameter and a root circle. An externally toothed central spindle is arranged within the housing. Planetary spindles rotate about the central spindle between the central spindle and the bushing. A heat transfer fluid is guided through fluid channels which extend helically along an outer surface of the bushing and guide the heat transfer fluid axially. A degassing opening is provided to which a negative pressure is applied for degassing. A minimum radial thickness (t) of the bushing between the root circle of the internal toothing on an inside of the bushing and a bottom of the fluid channels on an outside of the bushing is selected based on the pitch diameter (d) of the internal toothing.
