A mould for forming a collapsible container from an expandable material, the container comprising, at least a base and two pairs of a side walls extending at right angles from opposing sides of the base, the mould comprising: a first mould member and a second mould member movable with respect to each other between an open and a closed moulding position to define a mould cavity; and a plurality of anvils mounted on a rear surface of at least one of the first mould member and/or second mould member, each anvil being movable so as to be extended into the mould cavity so as to form one or more hinges in the expandable material at predetermined locations within the mould cavity; wherein the mould cavity defined by the first mould member and the second mould member is a three-dimensional representation of an inside-out configuration of the assembled container.

A vehicle trim element is formed by a method that includes the steps of: applying a film on the front face of a layer of ligneous material, with the applied film having at least one engraved pattern; placing the layer of ligneous material together with the applied film in a forming tool, with the front face of the layer being turned towards a wall of the forming tool; pressing the layer of ligneous material together with the applied film against the wall such that the layer adopts the shape of the trim element to be produced and such that, during the pressing of the layer and applied film, the engraved pattern is transferred to the front face of the layer; and removing the film after the pressing of the layer of ligneous material in order to obtain the trim element having a front face with the engraved pattern.

An embodiment of the invention provides a safety cushion mat that includes an inner filler made of a synthetic resin expanded foam member, and a first sheet and a second sheet which cover an upper and a lower surface of the inner filler, respectively. The inner filler may have air outlets formed in its upper and lower surfaces in a particular pattern. The first sheet may include a first sheet body portion and a first edge portion, and the second sheet may include a second sheet body portion and a second edge portion. The second edge portion may be fused with the first edge portion of the first sheet. When the first sheet and the second sheet are fused onto both sides of the inner filler, any air remaining between the first and second sheets and the inner filler may be discharged through the air outlets of the inner filler.

The line body includes a first and a second modeling layer part and a connecting part. In a cross section perpendicular to the first direction, the first and second modeling layer part extend along a second direction, the first modeling layer part is located at an outer side opposite to the second modeling layer part, and the connecting part is connected between the first modeling layer part and the second modeling layer part and obliquely intersects with the second direction. An inwardly recessed molding groove is provided at a joint of the connecting part and the first molding layer part or/and the second molding layer part. The disclosure has advantages of providing a molding line with more stereoscopic and aesthetic visual effect and a manufacturing apparatus thereof.
