CLOSING UNIT AND BLOW-MOULDING TOOL FOR A BLOW-MOULDING MACHINE
An arrangement is described. The arrangement comprises a closing unit for a blow-molding machine having a first and second mold carrier and a blow-molding tool arranged on the closing unit having two tool halves. A mold lower part of each tool half is movable in relation to the mold upper part of each tool half in a second movement direction different from the first movement direction back and forth between an open state and a closed state by means of at least one first or at least one second actuator and the blow-molding tool in the closed state of the two tool halves delimits a mold cavity having undercuts when the two mold lower parts are also in the closed state. The actuators, for example hydraulic cylinders, may arranged on the closing unit and make them able to be coupled to the mold lower part.
BLOW MOLDING MACHINE WITH MOLDS MOVED MECHANICALLY AND WITHOUT THE AID OF ELECTRICAL, HYDRAULIC OR PNEUMATIC DEVICES
An extrusion blow mold machine forming hollow containers. The machine has at least one pair of opposing half molds that combine to form a mold and define a mold cavity. Each of the half molds is positioned on a carrier plate and includes first, second, and third mold segments. The first and third mold segments can move with respect to each other and with respect to the second, fixed mold segment. A mechanical structure creates vertical movement of the first and third mold segments relative to the second mold segment as the mold opens horizontally, without the aid of any electrical, hydraulic, or pneumatic device. A closing unit engages the carrier plate to move the carrier plate and its respective half mold toward and away from the opposing half mold and its respective carrier plate, thereby closing and opening the mold.
MOLDING SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING MODULAR INTERLOCKING ARTICLES
Described are a mold and molding process for manufacturing devices and containers that are scalable, modular, and lockable laterally and vertically with other like devices or containers. The mold is formed with a cup mold and top end mold sections specially designed to allow for molding and demolding a container with an undercut. The cup mold includes, on a vertical wall, one or more undercuts. Multiple undercuts may further form tongues with undercuts each of which forms a groove with undercuts on the molded article, and/or one or more grooves with undercuts each of which form a tongue with undercuts in the molded article. Molding and Demolding of the article with undercuts is further enabled by utilizing an improved method of molding said article with an undercut, and demolding said article from the mold once it is molded, by improvements to each stage of the molding process, including the preform stage, the conditioning station stage, the blow stage and the release stage.
Blow mold
A blow mold is provided and includes a cavity mold composed of a pair of split molds for forming a cavity in which a preform is to be housed, a link member having one end side pivotably supported by a shaft member, and having on another end side a recess insert die which presses the preform during blow molding to form a grip portion, and a cam member which is provided lateral to the cavity mold so as to be linearly movable, and which presses the link member in accordance with a linear movement thereof to pivot the link member.

Method and apparatus for forming stretch blow molded containers
The present invention relates to a base assembly (100) for forming a base portion of a plastic container. The base assembly comprises a base pedestal (104), a base mold attached to the base pedestal, a push rod (102) movable between a first position and a second position with respect to the base mold to reposition a portion of the plastic container, and an activation mechanism adapted to move the push rod between the first position and the second position.
Molding unit for containers, equipped with a boxing device with improved compactness
Disclosed is a molding unit for the forming of a container provided with a hollow recess toward the interior of the container, including: a mold provided with a lateral wall defining a cavity having the impression of at least one portion of the container, provided with a housing formed hollow in a protrusion forming a projection toward the interior of the cavity and opening into the cavity; and a boxing device having an insert mounted in translation relative to the lateral wall between a retracted position in which the insert is retracted in the housing, and a deployed position in which the insert projects outside of the housing, a projection whose transverse extension is less than or equal to 85% of the cumulative transverse extension of the protrusion and of the insert.

The first and third mold segments can move with respect to each other and with respect to the second, fixed mold segment.
