TEMPERATURE CONTROL METHOD AND TEMPERATURE CONTROL DEVICE
A temperature control method includes: a step of obtaining, by means of PID control, a first energization rate based on a first temperature difference between an actually measured temperature and a target temperature; a step of obtaining a second energization rate based on a second temperature difference between the ambient temperature of the environment in which a heating barrel is disposed and the target temperature; a step of obtaining a corrected energization rate on the basis of the result of comparison of the first energization rate and the second energization rate; and a step of controlling the electrical power to be supplied to a heater on the basis of the corrected energization rate. The corrected energization rate is set to any of predetermined first, second, and third conditions on the basis of the comparison result.
METHOD OF CLASSIFYING A PLASTIC
A method of classifying a plastic, wherein the plastic is plasticized by supplying plasticizing energy in the form of mechanical and/or thermal energy with an increase in a temperature of the plastic from an initial temperature value to a final temperature value, a volume and/or a mass of the plastic and the supplied plasticizing energy is detected as measurement parameters by measurement means, in dependence on the detected measurement parameters, the initial temperature value, and the final temperature value at least one of the following is ascertained: a thermal capacity of the plastic and/or a change in enthalpy of the plastic and/or a parameter which can be derived by calculation from the thermal capacity and/or the change in enthalpy, and a plastic group including the plastic is identified on the basis of the ascertained thermal capacity and/or the ascertained change in enthalpy and/or the parameter which can be derived therefrom by calculation.
CONTROL DEVICE OF INJECTION MOLDING MACHINE, INJECTION MOLDING MACHINE, AND METHOD OF CONTROLLING INJECTION MOLDING MACHINE
A technique for managing a shear heating value of a molding material is provided. A control device of an injection molding machine individually controls outputs of a plurality of heating units for a plurality of zones, respectively, into which a cylinder is divided in a flow direction of a molding material. The control device acquires the output of the heating unit provided in a predetermined zone both in a steady state in which an operation of a screw provided inside the cylinder is stopped and at a time of molding at which the operation of the screw is performed, and calculates a difference in output of the heating unit provided in the predetermined zone between at a time of molding and in the steady state.
Injection molding apparatus and method for automatic cycle to cycle cavity injection
An injection molding system comprising: a first selected valve, one or more downstream valves, delivering a fluid to a mold cavity, at least one fluid property sensor that detects a flow front of fluid material flowing downstream through the mold cavity at a trigger location within the cavity disposed between the first gate and at least one selected downstream gate, a controller instructing an actuator associated with the downstream gates to open the gates at a predetermined open gate target time on a first injection cycle, each valve associated with a position sensor that detects opening of a gate at an actual open gate time to the controller, the controller automatically adjusting time of instruction to open the gates on a subsequent injection cycle by an adjustment time equal to any delay in time between the predetermined open gate target time and the actual open gate time.
