Disclosed is a process of adding PUF materials with non-repeatable random order to the additive manufacturing process of a product. Preferably, these materials have magnetic characteristics. These characteristics can be detected by a sensor which reads the random pattern and provides a unique signature for the item produced.

An injection system for injecting additive into a polymer transfer line is disclosed. The injection system can include an extruder having an inlet and an outlet. The injection system can further include a melt pump subsystem comprising at least a first melt pump and a second melt pump. Each melt pump of the first and second melt pumps can have an inlet and an outlet. The inlet of each of the first and second melt pumps can be in fluid communication with the outlet of the extruder. The first and second melt pumps can be arranged in parallel so that flow from the outlet of the extruder divides between the first melt pump and the second melt pump. The outlet of each of the first and second melt pumps can be in fluid communication with a polymer transfer line.
POLYMER INJECTION SYSTEM COMPRISING MULTIPLE PUMPS AND METHODS OF USING SAME
An injection system for injecting additive into a polymer transfer line is disclosed. The injection system can include an extruder having an inlet and an outlet. The injection system can further include a melt pump subsystem comprising at least a first melt pump and a second melt pump. Each melt pump of the first and second melt pumps can have an inlet and an outlet. The inlet of each of the first and second melt pumps can be in fluid communication with the outlet of the extruder. The first and second melt pumps can be arranged in parallel so that flow from the outlet of the extruder divides between the first melt pump and the second melt pump. The outlet of each of the first and second melt pumps can be in fluid communication with a polymer transfer line.

The present invention relates to an apparatus for dispensing and curing of liquid media, comprising a supply system comprising at least one reservoir for the liquid medium, a nozzle for ejecting the liquid medium into a mould (10) and/or onto a workpiece and means (22) connecting the nozzle and the reservoir; and a microwave system (16,18) which comprises a microwave source (16) for producing microwave radiation for irradiating the liquid medium in an irradiation zone (20) in the supply system, wherein the irradiation zone (20) is arranged between the reservoir and the nozzle. The apparatus further comprises a displacement assembly for translating and/or rotating the nozzle with respect to the mould (10) and/or the workpiece in a controlled manner. According to further aspects, the invention also relates to a system and a method for dispensing and curing of liquid media.

According to the invention, said supply device comprises: a buffer tank (10) suitable for receiving said polymerizable mixture via an inlet (101) of said buffer tank, a supply circuit (11), looped with said buffer tank, to convey the polymerizable mixture to an inlet (110) of said at least one molding device and including, beyond said inlet of the molding device, a return pipe (115) connected to the inlet of the buffer tank for sending a portion of the polymerizable mixture from said return pipe, and a filling pipe (42) of said buffer tank, connected to said inlet of said buffer tank, separate from the return pipe, wherein said buffer tank is also suitable for receiving said polymerizable mixture or at least one of said reactants from said filling pipe.
