APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING METAL-RESIN COMPOSITE
An apparatus is configured to manufacture a metal-resin composite by press-molding a metal plate and a resin material. The apparatus includes an upper mold and a lower mold for sandwiching the metal plate and the resin material, and an elastic member attached to a molding surface of the lower mold. A cavity for disposing the resin material is provided by the upper mold and the lower mold. The elastic member is disposed to seal the resin material into the cavity by pressing the metal plate against the upper mold.
PROCESS FOR MANUFACTURING A LEAF SPRING AND INSERT FOR LEAF SPRING
An insert to a mold for a leaf spring comprises a substrate and a hole that extends through the substrate, A post protrudes from the substrate such that the insert, may be coupled to the mold. Further, the post covers the hole on a first end, so the hole is not exposed. On the other end of the hole, a thin overlay that covers the hole. Thus, during a process where resin is added to the mold, no resin enters the hole. The insert, when added to a leaf spring, offers reinforcement on areas where there is high stress. Therefore, holes may be added to a leaf spring at areas of high stress without overly weakening the leaf spring.
Apparatus and method for injection moulding a cap with a tamperproof ring
A method and an apparatus form aluminium screw capsules with a safety ring made of synthetic plastics for tamperproof closing of containers. An aluminium capsule body is inserted into a moulding cavity of a mould conformed and arranged for the overmoulding of a safety ring on an edge of an annular wall of the capsule body. An annular sealing zone is defined for the synthetic plastic material between a first surface of the capsule body and a mould first portion inserted into the central cavity of the capsule body to form a safety ring anchored to the capsule body.

A method for applying a seal onto a plate, including, providing a tool containing at least one support element made of solid material including a recess, a support element made of flexible material including a first part and a second part where said support element made of flexible material is arranged at least partially in said recess, and a means for exerting a pressure in a compensation chamber of said recess, where said compensation chamber is delimited at least partially by said second part of said support element made of flexible material.
CURING AND BONDING TOOL
A tool for curing and bonding a honeycomb stack with void filler. The tool has a first tool piece with a cavity for receiving layers of unfilled honeycomb material and a second tool piece with a cavity for receiving at least one layer of void-filled honeycomb. The tool also has a compression seal arrangement that creates gas-tight seals between the first tool piece, second tool piece, and a barrier layer positioned between them, with a further seal covering the cavity of the first tool piece to form a gas-tight sealed volume including the first cavity, a pressure plate to cover the cavity of the second tool piece to apply pressure to the void-filled honeycomb, with a further seal to cover the pressure plate to form a gas-tight sealed volume including the second cavity.
