A mold die includes: a mold die body that is configured to hold an object to be molded, the object including a substrate and a chip mounted in a central area of the substrate, and that has a cavity which is rectangular in a plan view and which is configured to receive a resin material, the mold die body including: a pot for containing the resin material; a gate disposed at one side of the cavity and configured to allow the resin material to flow into the cavity; and a flow-path restricting mechanism that is disposed on both lateral sides of the cavity that are perpendicular to the one side and that is configured to narrow lateral flow paths, the lateral flow paths being flow paths for the resin material flowing through the cavity in which the chip is not disposed.

METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING A WIND TURBINE BLADE AND MOLD FOR MANUFACTURING A WIND TURBINE BLADE

A method for manufacturing a wind turbine blade including: arranging an upper mold on a lower wherein a dry fiber lay-up is arranged in the upper mold or in the upper mold and the lower mold, applying vacuum to a space between the upper and lower molds, and infusing the dry fiber lay-up in the upper and/or lower molds with resin through at least one upper resin inlet arranged at an upper portion of the upper mold. Having the at least one upper resin inlet of the upper mold improves the vacuum-assisted resin infusion. Resin provided through the at least one upper resin inlet has to be raised by a smaller height to reach the top of the mold. A resin flow of the resin provided through the at least one upper resin inlet is supported in a downward direction by the gravitational force.

Extruded seals including a sealing portion with a honeycomb profile and method for making extruded seals with honeycomb profiles. An extrusion tool is provided with a first and second plate connected together. The first plate has a plurality of pins, which are vented to form a honeycomb profile. The second plate has a profiled opening receiving the plurality of pins and forming the overall shape of the part, including the outermost surfaces of the part. The pins serve as mandrels for extruded molten material to flow around. Varying the pin configuration and dimensions changes the honeycomb profile. The honeycomb structure is provided in the sealing portion of the extrusion. The honeycomb profile is formed by itself, co-extruded with a rigid or semi-rigid structural member, or applied to the rigid or semi-rigid structural member after the structural member is formed.

NON-INFLATABLE HOLLOW TIRE MOULD

The invention discloses an inflation-free hollow tire modeling die which comprises a die base, die cores and a core holder. The front face, facing a discharge outlet of an extrusion forming machine, of the die base is provided with a concaved feeding cavity, and the bottom of the feeding cavity is provided with a modeling cavity running through the back face of the die base. The core holder is an arc support or a triangular support, supporting feet of the support are fixed to the outer edge portion of the feeding cavity, the top of the support is located in front of the modeling cavity, each die core is in suspended mode and comprises a columnar main body, each die core corresponds to an inner cavity of a tire, the length direction of each die core is perpendicular to the front face and the back face of the die holder, the head ends of the die cores are fixedly connected with the core holder, the tail ends of the die cores are extended backwards and positioned in the modeling cavity, the cross section shapes and relative positions in the modeling cavity of the die cores are matched with the internal structure and tire shapes of tires, and the cross section shape of the modeling cavity is matched with the contours of the tires. By means of the structure, the die mechanical strength is ensured, meanwhile, retardation and eddy currents are avoided for rubber materials in the whole extrusion process, and the quality of tire billets and tire products is ensured.
