METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THIN-WALLED MOLDED ARTICLE, AND WELL PLATE
The present invention has: a step for heating a resin or a metal in a state in which the resin or metal is sandwiched by a mold provided with a projection that is constituted from an elastic body having a heat resistance temperature higher than the temperature at which the resin or the metal softens, and a support body which is larder than the mold and which is softened by heat at a higher temperature than the resin or the metal, while a force is applied to the mold in the direction toward the resin or the metal.
Vulcanization mold for tire and method for manufacturing tire
A vulcanization mold is for a tire in which a plurality of sipes are arranged in a tire circumferential direction. The vulcanization mold includes a tread mold having a plurality a blades, for forming the sipes, provided on a tread forming surface. The tread mold is composed of a plurality of segments divided in the tire circumferential direction such that the segments are movable in a tire radial direction, and the number of divisions of the segments is 17 or more and 29 or less.
Imprint apparatus
An imprint apparatus for forming a pattern of an imprint material on a substrate using a mold having a mesa including a pattern region where a pattern and a mark are formed. The apparatus includes an alignment optical system which includes an illumination system configured to illuminate the mark with illumination light and a detecting system configured to detect an image of the mark illuminated by the illumination system. The illumination system includes a limiter configured to limit incidence of the illumination light to a side of the mesa, a ridge line of the mesa, and an outer region of the side.
PROCESS FOR PRODUCING A STRUCTURED AND OPTIONALLY COATED ARTICLE AND ARTICLE OBTAINED FROM SAID PROCESS
Described herein is a process for preparing a molded article including at least one structured surface, said process including applying a composition, preferably a foam material, into a mold having at least one structured inner surface and curing said composition to provide the molded structured article. The inner surfaces of the mold can be coated with a coating composition to obtain molded structured articles further including a flexible and durable coating layer. The present invention also relates to a structured molded article, preferably a shoe sole, which is obtained by the process.
Method for manufacturing cured product pattern, method for manufacturing processed substrate, method for manufacturing circuit board, method for manufacturing electronic component, and method for manufacturing imprint mold
A method for manufacturing a cured product pattern of a curable composition includes the steps of, in sequence, depositing a droplet of the curable composition onto a substrate; bringing a mold having an uneven pattern formed in a surface thereof into contact with the curable composition; curing the curable composition; and releasing a cured product of the curable composition from the mold. The mold has a recess having a bottom surface and a stair structure arranged to form an opening surface that becomes wider from the bottom surface toward the surface of the mold. In the contact step, the curable composition comes into contact with the stair portion after a top of the droplet comes into contact with the bottom surface.
Anti-migration micropatterned stent coating
An endoprosthesis has an expanded state and a contracted state, the endoprosthesis includes a stent having an inner surface defining a lumen, having an outer surface, and defining a plurality of apertures through the outer surface, wherein the apertures are arranged in a micropattern; and a coating (e.g., polymeric coating) attached to the outer surface of the stent. The coating includes a base and a tissue engagement portion including a second surface facing outwardly from the stent, the tissue engagement portion including a structure that defines a plurality of holes extending inwardly from the second surface toward the base. The holes are arranged in a micropattern. When the endoprosthesis is expanded to the expanded state in a lumen defined by a vessel wall, the structure applies a force that may reduce stent migration by creating an interlock between the vessel wall and the endoprosthesis.
METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING ROLL MOLD, ROLL MOLD MANUFACTURING APPARATUS, NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER READABLE MEDIUM, MICROLENS ARRAY, AND ROLL MOLD
A method for manufacturing a roll mold by cutting a roll, includes generating a control waveform based on a signal corresponding to a rotary position of the roll, and making a plurality of cuts on a surface of the roll by, while the roll is rotated, reciprocating a cutting blade in a radial direction of the roll in accordance with the control waveform. Making the plurality of cuts includes at each of a plurality of predetermined locations, making a predetermined number of cuts of predetermined depth based on the control waveform. Generating the control waveform includes generating a control waveform dictating that the predetermined locations, the predetermined depths, or both are randomly selected. Generating the control waveform includes generating a control waveform dictating that, when multiple cuts are made at a predetermined location, each subsequent cut will have a smaller depth than a preceding cut.
Forming apparatus, determination method, and article manufacturing method
A forming apparatus configured to, in a state in which a composition on a substrate and a mold have been brought into contact, cure the composition to thereby mold the composition, is provided. The forming apparatus includes a supplier configured to discretely supply droplets of the composition onto the substrate, a controller configured to control the supplier in accordance with a supply pattern that indicates a drop amount and a drop position of each droplet. The shot region has a rectangular outer shape. The controller determines the supply pattern such that a minimum distance between adjacent droplets supplied onto the shot region by the supplier gradually decreases from a center of each side of the rectangular outer shape of the shot region toward both corners of the each side of the rectangular outer shape of the shot region.
