Provided is a cleaning agent composition that is capable of efficiently performing the substitution of a molding raw material in a hot runner type mold. The cleaning agent composition contains 100 parts by weight of a thermoplastic resin; 1 part by weight to 20 parts by weight of at least one type of fatty acid ester that is selected from glycerin fatty acid ester, polyglycerin fatty acid ester, or sorbitan fatty acid ester; and 1 part by weight to 15 parts by weight of a metal salt of a fatty acid and/or a hydroxyfatty acid. The cleaning agent composition is used for cleaning a flow channel for resin in a hot runner type mold.

The object of the present invention is to provide a cleaning agent that is superior in the initial cleaning effect and allows residues to be easily distributed evenly in the next fabricated molded article. The object is achieved by a cleaning agent used for a molding machine and including a thermoplastic resin and a glass wool.

To provide a thermoplastic resin composition having an enhanced cleaning performance for cleaning a molding processing machine. The thermoplastic resin composition for cleaning a molding processing machine contains (A) an olefin-based resin, and (B) (B1) a nonionic surfactant having an HLB of 13 to 20, wherein the composition contains component (B) in an amount of 0.5 to 10 parts by mass relative to 100 parts by mass of component (A).

A purging agent that has excellent purging performance without generation of aggregate is disclosed as a purging agent used in a purging operation where a resin to be processed contains a polar group-containing thermoplastic resin. This purging agent contain a hydrocarbon-based resin, and at least one metal salt among an alkaline metal salt and alkaline earth metal salt, has a water content of 0.15% by weight or less, and includes 0.1 to 20% by weight of the metal salt expressed as the metal relative to the hydrocarbon-based resin.

Compositions and methods for cleaning surfaces, such as for removing residues or other coatings from molds and other industrial parts, such compositions comprising, for example, a first solvent comprising a pyrrolidone such as 2-pyrrolidone, 1-(2-hydroxyethyl)-2-pyrrolidone, or mixture thereof; and a second solvent selected from the group consisting of an imidazole (such as 1,2-dimethylimidizole), an alkylene glycol ether (such as ethylene glycol monobutyl ether or diethylene glycol monobutyl ether, a terpene (such as d-limonene), and mixtures thereof.
