SOLUBLE MANUFACTURING AID
Provided is a method of forming a shaped structure. The method includes coupling a first section of a mold to a second section of the mold such that a mold cavity is defined, wherein a cross-sectional shape of the mold cavity corresponds to a cross-sectional shape of the shaped structure and wherein at least one of the first section of the mold and the second section of the mold comprise a soluble material; at least partially filling the mold cavity with a curable polymer; and curing the curable polymer in the mold cavity to make the shaped structure.
Method for producing a negative skin, and tool
The present invention relates to a method for producing a negative skin and a tool. Such a tool can be used, for example, in the automotive industry.

Reusable Countertop Mold for Forming Countertop Overhangs
A reusable countertop mold in accordance with the present invention includes a bracket member detachably secured to a rail portion of a cabinet member for a substantially horizontal substrate that receives deformable material upon a surface of the substrate. The bracket member includes vertical, horizontal and channel members integrally joined together for enabling a channel member to removably receive the rail member. The mold further includes a locking bolt for detachably securing the bracket member to the rail portion of the support member. A form member is detachably secured to the bracket member, the form member continuously extending outside the perimeter of the substrate and receives deformable material that ultimately solidifies; whereby, the substrate surface and the form member cooperate to configure a countertop that continuously extends upon and outside the perimeter of the substrate, thereby forming a countertop having an integrally joined overhang portion; whereupon, the reusable countertop mold is removed from the solidified countertop overhang portion and the rail portion.

Fluid transfer assembly, a fluid transfer system, and a related method
Fluid transfer assemblies for transferring fluid into or out of a single vessel and distributing the fluid to multiple other vessels are provided. The fluid transfer assemblies are customizable, substantially aseptic, and single-use. The fluid transfer assemblies may be manufactured by solidifying polymeric materials to form a body around a mandrel with protrusions engaged to fluid conduits and leaving recesses in the solidified polymeric material to stretch the resultant body and remove the mandrel with protrusions. The resultant fluid transfer assembly may be surrounded by a rigid housing and valves may be engaged with the conduits and/or body to control the fluid flow within the fluid transfer assembly.

Undercut processing mechanism and molding die assembly
An undercut processing mechanism that is installed in a molding die assembly configured to form a molded article having an undercut portion so as to allow demolding of the undercut portion, the undercut processing mechanism comprising: a pushing piece movable in a demolding direction of the molded article; a support element fixed to the pushing piece or formed so as to be integrated with the pushing piece and capable of supporting the undercut portion during movement of the pushing piece; a sliding piece configured to be slidable relative to the pushing piece and to move, in conjunction with movement of the pushing piece, in a direction intersecting the demolding direction of the molded article; and a retaining piece configured to retain the sliding piece such that the sliding piece is slidable.

Complex shaped 3D objects fabrication
An apparatus for manufacturing of 3D objects is provided. The apparatus includes a number of material deposition heads terminated by nozzles, of which one or two nozzles are configured to deposit a first material to form a first and second pattern layers. The pattern layers are laterally shifted from each other such that when the first and second pattern layers are deposited, a space (empty volume) with a varying cross section is formed. In some examples, two or more nozzles could be used to deposit the corresponding first and second pattern layers. The nozzles could move independent of each other.
