Method for manufacturing a hearing device
A method for manufacturing a hearing device is disclosed. The hearing device comprises a speaker, a first chamber, and a sound channel arranged between the first chamber and the surroundings of the hearing device or a second chamber. An element of a thermoplastic material being in a solid state is arranged in the sound channel. A laser light is applied to the element to thereby activate the element to change from the solid state to a liquid state. The element then changes from the solid state to the liquid state filling out a cross-section of the sound channel and thereby sealing the sound channel. Finally, cooling of the element is allowed leading to a change of the element from the liquid state to solid state while filling out the cross-section of the sound channel.
Method of manufacturing sandwich panel
The invention relates to a method of manufacturing a sandwich panel comprises the steps of: a) providing a plate-shaped assembly of a first cover part and a second cover part and between these cover parts a core part of a thermoplastic material containing a physical blowing agent, b) heating the assembly resulting from step a) under pressure between press tools in a press to a foaming temperature below the glass transition temperature of the thermoplastic material in the core part, thereby effecting adhesion of the foamed core part to the first and second cover parts c) foaming the thermoplastic material in the core part under pressure and at the foaming temperature wherein the spacing between the press tools is increased; d) a cooling step of cooling the foamed sandwich panel resulting from step c), while the sandwich panel is maintained under pressure between the press tools; e) removing the thus cooled sandwich panel from the press; and f) drying the sandwich panel thus obtained; wherein the cooling step d) comprises.a first substep d1) of cooling the foamed assembly from the foaming temperature to an intermediate temperature in the range of 70-100° C. at a first cooling rate and a second substep d2) of cooling the foamed assembly from the intermediate temperature to ambient temperature at a second cooling rate, the second cooling rate is less than the first cooling rate.

Thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) physically-foamed roll and semi-continuous preparation method thereof
Provided are a thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) physically-foamed roll and a semi-continuous preparation method thereof. In the preparation method, the desorption of a high-pressure fluid is inhibited by controlling a solubility of the high-pressure fluid in a TPE roll and then subjecting the material to a quick freezing and gas-locking treatment at a specific temperature, and an impregnated roll can be stored at a low temperature for a long time or subjected to long-distance transportation, and can be stably subjected to continuous heating and foaming, which allows large-scale continuous production and is safe and environmentally-friendly. The present disclosure also provides a TPE physically-foamed roll prepared by the preparation method, and the TPE physically-foamed roll has a thickness of 0.1 mm to 3 mm, a density of 0.1 g/cm.sup.3 to 0.6 g/cm.sup.3, a foam cell size of 1 m to 200 m, and a Shore hardness of 20 C to 60 C.
