Fastening system for a distribution member on a threaded neck of a reservoir

A fastening system for fastening a distribution member, such as a pump, on a neck of a reservoir to form a distributor for a fluid product includes a fastening ring and a rigid collar, the ring including a skirt intended to be engaged around the neck. The skirt includes articulated fastening tabs angled outwards with respect to a central axis X of the ring, and the collar is able to be moved with respect to the skirt and engaged around the skirt so as to fold back the articulated tabs to a radial alignment with the axis X. The ring with the collar is then able to be assembled on the neck and able to be disassembled from the neck without relative movement between the ring and the collar, and the articulated tabs have an internal fastening means that can engage with an external fastening means of the neck

Canister lid

A lid of molded plastic construction, includes a lid body and a cap attached to the lid body by a tether. The tether is substantially continuous with an adjacent peripheral edge of the lid body, with a tear zone between the tether and the adjacent peripheral edge of the lid body formed during molding of the lid. The tear zone is disruptable by application of a tearing pressure to free the tether from the peripheral edge.

Collapsible shape-retaining containers

Collapsible containers and a method of their manufacture are disclosed herein. The collapsible containers have one or more collapsible wall sections and a stiff upper and lower tier. The wall sections have living hinges and three or more tiers between the hinges. A thermoplastic elastomer layer may join separately made portions of the container together. The containers may be made by molding and overmolding. The containers include inter alia bulk liquid containers, jugs, tubs, baskets, bottles, and food containers. The method of manufacturing includes placing a container component and a matching container body comprising a stiff first tier, a stiff second tier, and a collapsible wall section in a mold; assembling the container body with the container component to close one end of the container body; and overmolding a thermoplastic layer around the container body and the container component.

A cap for a container comprises: a body, configured to be coupled and uncoupled relative to the neck of the container and including a side wall, which extends around a longitudinal axis, and a transverse wall; a tamper evident ring, configured to remain anchored to the neck of the container even when the body is uncoupled from the neck and including a joining portion where the tamper evident ring is joined to the body, the joining portion being configured to be torn along a full perimeter surrounding the longitudinal axis, wherein the cap comprises a connecting band having a first end connected to the side wall of the body and a second end connected to the retaining portion of the tamper evident ring.

ONE-PIECE CAST COMPONENT HAVING AT LEAST ONE INTEGRATED ATTACHMENT PART, AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING A CAST COMPONENT
20220410449 · 2022-12-29 ·

A one-piece cast component having at least one integrated attachment part is disclosed. The component includes at least one pin which is rigidly connected to an attachment part; a housing at least partially enclosing the pin in a contactless manner; the pin being arranged in the axial direction between two axial connecting webs and being rigidly connected via the latter to the housing; the pin being arranged in the radial direction between a plurality of radial connecting webs and being rigidly connected via the latter to the housing; wherein the connecting webs are dimensioned in such a way that only the latter break at respective predetermined breaking points when pivoting the attachment part for the first time relative to the housing, whereafter the attachment part, together with the pin, is mounted so as to be pivotable with respect to the housing. The regions of the connecting webs that remain on the housing after the breaking operation prevent the pin from being removed from the housing. The disclosure further relates to a method for producing such a cast component having an integrated attachment part.
