Injection molding machine with part-handling apparatus
An injection molding machine includes a machine base; a stationary platen fixed to the base for holding a stationary mold section; a moving platen slidably supported by the base for holding a moving mold section; a rotary apparatus slidably supported by the base axially intermediate the stationary and moving platens for supporting a plurality of center mold sections and moving the center mold sections among axial positions directed toward the stationary and moving mold sections and lateral positions directed toward the operator and non-operator side of the machine; and a part-handling apparatus mounted to the stationary platen. The part-handling apparatus includes an end-of-arm tooling disposed laterally outboard of the rotary apparatus. The end-of-arm tooling is movable laterally between an engaged position for interacting with molded articles in one of the center mold sections in the lateral positions, and a disengaged position spaced laterally outwardly from the engaged position.
INJECTION MOLDING APPARATUS AND INJECTION MOLDING PROCESS FOR PRODUCING MULTICOMPONENT PLASTICS MOLDINGS
An injection molding apparatus for producing a plastics molding comprising a first component, a second component, and a third component comprises a first mold plate having at least 3 first mold nests, and a second mold plate having at least 3 second mold nests. In the closed state, the mold plates cooperate in the production of the plastics mold. In the opened state, the second mold plate is rotatable relative to the first mold plate. The at least 3 second mold nests comprise, in a case A), at least two second mold nests for injection molding the first component, and at least one second mold nest for injection molding the third component, or, in a case B), at least two second mold nests for injection molding the second component, and at least one second mold nest for injection molding the first component.
Device and method for injection molding
An injection molding device (1) includes a center part (3) and a rotating device (2) for rotating the center part (3) in the injection molding device (1). The rotating device (2) includes a base (4) supported with respect to an injection molding machine. A thereto attached column (5) extends in an axial direction (z) above the base (4). A sleeve (6) coaxially surrounds the column (5) and is at least partially arranged in the center part (3). The sleeve (6) rotates with the center part (3) around the column (5). The column (5) is arranged removable with respect to the center part (3).
Injection mold
An injection mold for producing a double walled drinking vessel includes first and second mold portions. The first mold portion forms a first and second cavities corresponding to the outer shape of the outer container and the outer shape of the inner container, respectively. The first and second cavities are located concentrically with respect to a central axis. An index plate is rotatable and axially movable along the central axis relative to the first mold portion. The index plate includes a first core and a second core. The first cavity has a first cavity injection gate for injecting mold material into the first cavity for forming the outer container. The second cavity has a second cavity injection gate for injecting mold material into the second cavity for forming the inner container. The first cavity has a further injection gate for injecting joint material for joining the outer and inner containers.
DEVICE AND METHOD FOR INJECTION MOLDING
An injection molding device (1) includes a center part (3) and a rotating device (2) for rotating the center part (3) in the injection molding device (1). The rotating device (2) includes a base (4) supported with respect to an injection molding machine. A thereto attached column (5) extends to an axial direction (z) above the base (4). A sleeve (6) coaxially surrounds the column (5) and is at least partially arranged in the center part (3). The sleeve (6) rotates with the center part (3) around the column (5). The column (5) is arranged removable with respect to the center part (3).
Injection molding device
An injection molding device for producing a multicomponent injection molded product includes at least one first and at least one second outer mold plate arranged in a movable manner between an open position and a closed position. A central part arranged between the first and the second outer mold plate includes a first part which in the open position is arranged rotatable about an axis of rotation and to which first inner mold plates are attached which include first cavity segments. A second part arranged non-rotatable includes on one side in the direction of the first outer mold plate second cavity segments and on an opposite side in the direction of the second outer mold plate third cavity segments. Second inner mold plates clamp related intermediate products and in the open position are arranged displaceable in a radial direction with respect to the axis of rotation and rotatable around the second part to transport the intermediate products from the second cavity segments to the third cavity segments around the second part of the central part.

An injection molding device comprising an injection mold with a middle mold part arranged in a first direction between a first outer mold part and a second outer mold part. The first outer mold part and the second outer mold part are linearly movable with respect to the middle mold part in the first direction between an open position and a closed position of the injection mold. The middle mold part is turnable about a rotation axis and comprises a side face which comprises a first cavity suitable to temporarily receive a first component. The first cavity communicates with a first half of a second cavity. At least one of the outer mold parts comprises a second half of the second cavity which interacts with the first half to form the second cavity to receive a liquefied first plastic material to form a second component interconnected to the first component.

An assembly appliance for mould tool parts of an injection moulding tool is disclosed, the assembly appliance including an assembly plate configured for insertion into an injection moulding machine and including a tool carrier for receiving first mould tool parts to be assembled; and an assembly frame having a guide system for a translatory displacement of the assembly plate along a longitudinal extension of the assembly frame, and a support device for stationary support of a second mould tool part which corresponds to at least one of the first mould tool parts.
METHOD AND DEVICE FOR MAKING A MULTI COMPONENT PRODUCT
An injection molding device with a middle mold part arranged in a first direction between first and second outer mold parts that are linearly movable with respect to the middle mold part in the first direction between open and closed positions. One or more side face regions of the middle mold part is configured to receive and hold in a lateral position a cavity module from outside of the injection mold during injection molding. A first cavity arranged in the cavity module at least in the closed position of the injection mold communicates with a first cavity half of a second cavity. At least one of the outer mold parts includes a second half of the second cavity, which interacts with the first half to form the second cavity to receive a liquefied plastic material and to form a second component interconnected to the first component.
Method for Producing a Multi-Section Plastic Component, and a Multi-Section Plastic Component
A method is provided for producing a multi-section plastic component in which a first plastic injection-molded individual part and a second plastic injection-molded individual part are formed. The plastic injection-molded individual parts are joined by injecting a plastic moulding compound. The plastic molding compound is a non-elastomeric thermoplastic and forms a plastic connecting component following a curing process. The plastic injection-molded individual parts and plastic connecting component are then at least partially painted.
