Injection-molded article and method for manufacturing same
This injection-molded article is an injection-molded article using a cellulosic fiber composite resin, including: a resin insert piece including a colorant or a cellulose fiber; a first region formed of the cellulosic fiber composite resin; and a second region formed along a weld line of the cellulosic fiber composite resin extending from the resin insert piece, in which the first region and the second region have different color tones.
Electronic device with recognizable shell and manufacturing method for the recognizable covering plate
An electronic device with a recognizable shell is provided. At least a portion of the recognizable shell is manufactured by a method including mixing a plastic material and a color material to obtain a mixture material, increasing an environment temperature of the mixture material to a preheating temperature lower than the plastic material melting point, increasing the environment temperature above the preheating temperature, increasing the environment temperature to a temperature 5 to 10 degrees above the plastic material melting point; increasing the environment temperature above the color material melting point, injecting the mixture material in a mold cavity of a mold, maintaining the mold in under a molding pressure, and obtaining the cooled mixture material as the portion. A manufacturing method for recognizable covering plate is also provided.
Variegated building product and method
A method of molding a building product may include providing an injection mold with a plurality of gates located adjacent a perimeter of the injection mold. The method may further include commingling a first material and a second material into a flow. The second material may be a color that contrasts with a color of the first material. The method may include injecting the commingled flow into the plurality of gates to form an injection molded building product, and removing the molded building product from the injection mold. In addition, the second material may extend through an interior of the molded building product and appear as contrasting streaks on an exterior of the building product to form a variegated grain appearance.
ARTICLES OF FOOTWEAR, MANUFACTURING SYSTEMS, AND PROCESSES FOR FORMING FOOTWEAR USING RECYCLED PLASTICS
Presented are manufacturing systems, methods, and devices for forming footwear using scrap or waste plastic materials. A method for manufacturing an article of footwear, such as an athletic shoe, begins with receiving a batch of recycled plastic, which may include thermoplastic elastomers or ethylene-vinyl acetate, and grinding the batch of recycled plastic material. The ground recycled material is processed, for example, by adding a foaming agent that activates at elevated temperatures. The processed recycled material is placed into the internal cavity of a final mold that is shaped like a segment of the footwear, such as a unitary sole structure. To form the footwear segment, the processed recycled material is heated past the threshold activation temperature of the foaming agent such that the foaming agent causes the recycled material to expand and fill the internal cavity of the final mold. The formed footwear segment is then extracted from the mold.
BUILDING PANELS HAVING SIMULATED WOOD GRAIN AND METHODS OF MAKING THE SAME
Building panels and methods of making the same are disclosed herein. In one embodiment, a method of injection molding a building panel includes co-mingling a first material and a second material in a molten material, where the second material includes a color that contrasts with the first material. The method also includes injecting the molten material into a cavity of an injection mold, modifying a flow front of the molten material as the molten material flows in the cavity, and cooling the molten material to form a solidified building panel.

SYSTEM, METHOD AND ARTICLE FOR SIDING CORNER
A method of injection molding a building product includes providing an injection mold with a plurality of gates located adjacent a perimeter of the injection mold. The method further includes commingling a first material and a second material into a flow, the second material comprising a color that contrasts with a color of the first material and injecting the commingled flow into the plurality of gates to form a building product. Thereafter, the method includes removing the building product from the injection mold. The second material extends through an interior of the building product and appears as contrasting streaks on an exterior of the building product to form a variegated grain appearance. The method also includes notching a portion of the building product, such that the building product has a substantially linear grain in an exposed portion thereof.
