MOLDING DIE, MOLDING APPARATUS, AND TERMINAL
A molding die includes a first mold assembly, a second mold assembly, and a mold core. The first and second mold assemblies are adapted to be clamped together. The mold core defines a molding groove. The molding core is pressed between the first and second mold assemblies to form a molding cavity. The second mold assembly includes a light transmitting area corresponding to the molding cavity, so that the molding cavity will receive incident light through the light transmitting area. In the molding die, the first mold assembly, the second mold assembly, and the mold core cooperate to form the molding cavity, adhesive is injected into the molding cavity, and the molding cavity receives incident light through the light transmitting area, so that curing efficiency of the adhesive is improved, production efficiency is high, shape of molded adhesive is uniform, and product quality is improved.
STACK MOLD CARRIER
A stack mold carrier for supporting a center mold section of an injection molding machine, including a platen assembly, is disclosed. The stack mold carrier includes a carrier base which includes a mold support portion for coupling with and supporting the center mold section. A linkage assembly is pre-installed on the carrier base and a first restraint system is provided for releasably retaining the linkage assembly in a first, non-operational position wherein the linkage assembly is fixed relative to the carrier base such that the stack mold carrier can be disposed on the platen assembly as an assembled unit. The stack mold carrier includes a second restraint system for releasably retaining the stack mold carrier on the platen assembly prior to connection with the center mold section.
Method and tool for manufacturing a composite aircraft window frame
The invention relates to a method for manufacturing a composite aircraft window frame; the method comprises the steps of: a) positioning in a mold a preform made of pre-impregnated material including dispersed fibers, with a predefined orientation, in a thermosetting resin matrix; b) closing the mold so as to define a gap between at least one surface of said preform and a portion of said mold; c) injecting thermosetting resin into the closed mold through an inlet opening of the mold itself, so as to fill the gap and completely lap said surface of the preform; and d) applying a uniform hydrostatic pressure on the surface by the injection of the resin.
Injection Molding Apparatus
An injection molding apparatus includes: a first fixed mold attachment and detachment unit configured to attach and detach a first fixed mold; a second fixed mold attachment and detachment unit configured to attach and detach a second fixed mold; a first movable mold attachment and detachment unit configured to attach and detach a first movable mold; a first injection unit configured to inject a first molding material through a first gate opening of the first fixed mold; a second injection unit configured to inject a second molding material through a second gate opening of the second fixed mold; and a position changing unit configured to change a position of the first movable mold attachment and detachment unit such that the first movable mold is located at a position facing the first fixed mold or the second fixed mold. The position changing unit includes: a driving unit, a rotation shaft member configured to rotate by the driving unit, and a rotation disk coupled to the rotation shaft member and provided with the first movable mold attachment and detachment unit. The rotation disk is configured to rotate about a rotation axis of the rotation shaft member, and a flow path that communicates with the first movable mold and through which a medium flows is formed in the rotation shaft member.
APPARATUS AND PROCESS FOR MOLDING BOTTLE PREFORMS
A process for molding one or more bottle preforms, wherein molten plastic is injected into at least one molding cavity; and wherein air is drawn from the at least one molding cavity, through at least one channel for the air to pass from the at least one molding cavity towards the outside of the molding device, by means of suction means; and apparatus and device for performing such a process.
Needle shield grip devices and related methods
A needle guard grip device may include a body extending from a first end to a second end along a central longitudinal axis of the body. The body may include a plurality of ribs extending perpendicularly to the central longitudinal axis. The plurality of ribs may include a first set of longitudinally spaced ribs disposed on a first side of the central longitudinal axis, and a second set of longitudinally spaced ribs disposed on a second side of the central longitudinal axis that is opposite of the first side. Moving along the central longitudinal axis, ribs of the first set of longitudinally spaced ribs may alternate with ribs of the second set of longitudinally spaced ribs.
PERMANENT TOOLING FOR COMPOSITE COIL SPRING COMPRESSION MOLDING
An inner mandrel for forming a variable taper component includes a plurality of interlocking pieces and a brace. Each interlocking piece defines opposed tapered edge faces, a first surface, and a tapered second surface opposite the first surface. One of the edge faces defines a locking feature and another of the edge faces defines a receiving feature engaging the locking feature of an adjacent interlocking piece. The first surface defines a variable taper and a plurality of recesses. The brace secures the plurality of interlocking pieces to each other in a concentric arrangement about a central axis. A maximum width of each of the interlocking pieces is smaller than a minimum width of an end portion of the variable taper component. A central portion of the variable taper component is wider than the end portions.
PARTING LOCK DEVICE AND INJECTION MOLDING MOLD ASSEMBLY USING SAME
In a parting locking device for an injection molding mold assembly, a first engagement element and a first spring are mounted in the base holder. With a locking plate inserted in a plate insertion hole, the first engagement element moves to a locking position where the base holder and a locking member are coupled together. When a locking bar is pulled out of a bar insertion hole, the first engagement element is pushed and moved to an unlocking position where the base holder and the locking member are uncoupled from each other.
Contact Lens Packaging
Packages, systems, and methods of the present disclosure are generally directed to the use of side gating in injection molding to form packaging for contact lenses. As compared to gating along a top surface of a contact lens package, the use of a side gate in injection molding to form a package for contact lenses may significantly reduce the time required to cool plastic in the injection mold, thus offering potential to reduce the overall cycle time for the injection molding process and increase fabrication throughput of the package.
Tool for plastic injection molding and method for manufacturing the tool
Tool for plastic injection molding consisting of at least one metallic mold and at least one plastic carrier, wherein the metallic mold and the plastic carrier are connected to one another by an adhesive layer.
