Mold component

There is provided a member of a mold stack (100, 800), the member comprising: a member body (102, 802) defining a member molding surface for defining, in use, a portion of a molding cavity for molding a molded article, a member cooling circuit (120, 820) having a plurality of member cooling channels (128, 829), the plurality of member cooling channels (128, 829) being coupled in parallel to a source of cooling fluid, the member cooling circuit (120, 820) being fully encapsulated within the member body (102, 802).

Tamper evident cap assembly

A tamper evident cap assembly includes an outer cap having an outer cap end wall and an outer cap skirt, and an inner cap having an inner cap end wall and an inner cap skirt. The inner cap skirt has a thread on an inner surface for selectively fastening the cap assembly on a portion of a container. The thread has separations therein. The first and second vertical ratchet teeth of the outer cap and the inner cap, respectively, abut when the outer cap is turned in an application direction to rotate the inner cap and the outer cap together to fasten the inner cap onto the container. When a downward force is applied on the outer cap, the second end teeth on the inner cap engage with the first end teeth on the outer cap applying torque on the outer cap in the removal direction turning the inner cap to release the cap assembly from the container and rupture the tamper evident band.

A tube for dispensing product includes a closed first end, an open second end opposing the closed first end, and a side wall extending between the closed first end and the open second end. The side wall and the closed first end define an interior portion to hold product. The side wall of the tube includes internal threads extending inwardly from the side wall adjacent to the open second end. The various elements of the tube may include interlocking features to seal the tube from outside fluids.

INJECTION MOLD, RESIN MEMBER, AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING RESIN PRODUCT

An injection mold including a gate and a cavity, where a weld portion is formed inside the cavity by injecting molten resin containing reinforcing fibers from the gate into the cavity; a cavity surface of the injection mold has a plurality of ridge portions 140 on a downstream side in a resin flow direction of the cavity, where the ridge portions extend in a direction intersecting a weld extending direction of the weld portion and protrude into the cavity; and the plurality of ridge portions are arranged at intervals from each other in a direction intersecting the weld extending direction and are arranged at intervals from each other in the weld extending direction.

A mold structure used in an injection molding process to form a cup having broken threads where an A and B mold form a horizontal irregular parting line to alleviate stripping or unscrewing along the threads. The B mold includes a series of segmented surfaces arranged in a helical pattern at an angle from a transverse plane and extending around a longitudinal axis to form a topside surface of the B mold. The A mold having a series of corresponding segmented surfaces similarly constructed and arranged to mate with the B mold. Closed-ended flutes are disposed on an inner wall surface of each segmented surface on either the A or B mold. A core insert is disposed within but having a space thereinbetween inner wall surfaces of the top and B mold and abutting the closed A mold portion and closed B mold portion creating a seal off.
