Method and device for manufacturing microneedle having coating part on tip thereof
The present disclosure relates to a method for manufacturing a microneedle containing a coating part on a needle tip and an apparatus used for the method. When a microneedle is manufactured using the coating method and apparatus according to the present disclosure, a coating part in which a target material is impregnated can be easily inserted into skin and effective dissolution is possible. Further, the target material is allowed to show excellent skin permeability with the dissolution of the coating part of the microneedle manufactured according to the present disclosure, thereby a quantitative amount of target material can be effectively delivered into the skin.
METHOD FOR PRODUCING GRAMOPHONE RECORDS BY INJECTION MOULDING
A method for producing gramophone records by injection moulding, comprises the steps of heating polymeric material to liquefy said material, supplying liquid polymeric material under pressure from a feed zone to a space between two mould parts via a nozzle. The liquid polymeric material is passed through a single passage located in one of the mould parts and forced under pressure through the nozzle into said space. Polyethylene terephthalate isophthalic acid modified copolymer is used as said polymeric material.
SKIN FOR A VEHICLE INTERIOR TRIM PART CONTAINING AN OPERATING ELEMENT
The skin (1) comprises at least an outer elastomeric layer (5) with an inner surface and an outer surface and at least one operating element (8A) which is adhered to the inner surface of the outer skin layer (5). The operating element (8A) is intended to be connected to an electric or electronic component to enable to control the operation of this component. In order to indicate the location of the operating element (8A) in the skin (1) with a minimal distortion of the visual appearance of the skin, the operating surface (9) of the operating element (8A) extends in a first area (11) of the visible surface of said skin (1), which first area (11) has a first surface texture which is different from the surface texture of the surrounding area (12) of the visible surface of the skin. Both textures may in particular produce a different gloss and the first area (11) may further be provided with surface relief elements (16, 17).
Injection molded article
An injection molded article is obtained by injection molding a molten resin into a mold. The injection molded article includes: a base as a thin plate-shaped member that is connected to a gate of the mold; and a plurality of protrusions each integrally molded on the base and having a thickness greater than a plate thickness of the base. The plurality of protrusions have holes each extending through the base, and the holes in the respective protrusions are connected through another component to form a flow channel. A processed region processed to have a surface roughness greater than a surface roughness of a mirror surface region including a region between the holes on the base is formed in a projected region where a region having a predetermined thickness value is projected on the base.
Tray and Manufacture Thereof
A tray having: an annular sidewall having upper and lower annular peripheral edges, an upper annular peripheral rim which is integral with the upper annular peripheral edge, and a base having an annular peripheral edge which is integral with the lower annular peripheral edge of the sidewall, wherein the rim, the sidewall and the base are composed of a thermoplastic polymer and the sidewall and the base define a central concavity for packaging a product, wherein the base has a lattice structure of elongate foam ribs interconnected by foam junctions, wherein each foam rib has opposite ends, and each end is integrally connected to either the annular peripheral edge of the base or one of the foam junctions, wherein each foam rib and each foam junction has opposed upper and lower unfoamed solid skins of the thermoplastic polymer on opposite sides of a central cellular foam core of the thermoplastic polymer
INJECTION MOLDED CARBON FIBER WEAVE TEXTURE AND METHOD OF APPLYING SAME
A simulated carbon fiber weave texture for use on component parts for automobiles and other vehicles and a method of applying same are provided. The component part can be prepared using plastic injection molded methods for varying types of plastic resins and applying different surface finishing processes, and a combination of texture etching practices can be used on the injection mold tool steel to simulate conventional carbon fiber appearance.
INJECTION MOLDED COMPONENT
An injection molded component has a functional portion and a quality control portion. The quality control portion comprises a set of protrusions which are adapted to distort visibly in response to injection molding shrinkage, thereby to enable visual quality control inspection.
Fabrication method for micro-/nanostructured compound-eye arrays with hydrophobicity and light trapping and applications thereof
The present invention relates to micro-/nanostructured compound-eye arrays and fabrication method thereof, and discloses a fabrication method and applications for the molded polymer parts with the micro-/nanostructured compound-eye arrays on their surfaces, which exhibit both hydrophobicity and light trapping. The fabrication method for the molded polymer parts with the micro-/nanostructured compound-eye arrays includes following steps. A flexible microlens array template is assembled; the flexible microlens array template is fixed on an injection mold cavity, and a polymer part with microlens arrays distributing on its surface is molded by using injection molding; the microlens arrays on the molded polymer part are imprinted onto the surface of an ultra-pure aluminum foil, nanopores are formed on its surface via anode oxidation, and so an aluminum template with negative micro-/nanostructured compound-eye arrays is fabricated; the aluminum template is fixed on an injection mold cavity, and a polymer part with micro-/nanostructured compound-eye arrays distributing on its surface is molded by using injection molding. The dual-level compound-eye arrays (orderly distributed convex semi-sphere microlens and densely distributed nanopillars) are developed on the surface of the molded polymer part, which exhibits both hydrophobicity and light trapping.
Plastic molded product
A plastic molded product includes a plastic body provided with a plurality of holes, which are recessed in a common depth direction, on a surface of the plastic body. The holes include: an inner surface including an inlet a specific reference plane perpendicular to the depth direction and including at least a portion of the inlet and a depth reference point, which is spaced away from a center point on an inlet side of the specific reference plane toward a bottom side of the hole, the depth reference point being spaced away by a distance equal to ¼ of a maximum value of an inlet side bore diameter on the specific reference plane. A deepmost portion of the inner surface of the hole is in a position which coincides with the reference point or is deeper than the reference point toward the bottom side.
SIGNALING ARRANGEMENTS EMPLOYING MOLDED THERMOPLASTICS
A thermoplastic resin is molded to define a container bearing a surface 2D code signal, such as a digital watermark pattern. In some arrangements, the mold dimensions are tailored, and process parameters are selected, so that an indentation in the mold gives rise to a corresponding indentation—rather than a corresponding protrusion—in the shaped plastic. In other arrangements, a metal mold is provided with a patterned resin on its surface to define the 2D code signal. The resin may take the form of a rigid or non-rigid insert that can be removed or re-worked to change the code signal without changing the metal mold. A variety of other improvements and arrangements are also detailed.
