METHOD OF PRODUCING INJECTION MOLDED ARTICLES
Injection molded articles and methods of making injection molded articles. The methods include the use of a first plasticizing unit and a second plasticizing unit on a common frame feeding a first mold and a second mold on the common frame. Separating the production of each part of a two-part article into separate plasticizers and molds allows for the tuning of production parameters on a per-part basis, improving part flatness and part-to-part weight variance.

METHOD OF MOULDING AND MOULD TOOL
A mould tool comprising: a first tool part defining a first mould cavity portion; a second tool part defining a second mould cavity portion; and, a cavity alignment system comprising: a temperature control system configured to control the temperature of a first zone of the first tool part to thereby effect thermal expansion and/or contraction in the first zone of the first tool part; a sensor configured to measure movement of a part of the first tool part in response to the said thermal expansion and/or contraction; and, a controller configured to control the temperature control system in response to feedback from the sensor to thereby control the position of the first mould cavity portion relative to the second mould cavity portion.

HEATING DEVICE
Heating device for locally heating of an injection mold cavity wall, comprising: a base plate, an actuator located on the base plate, to perform a linear movement; a heated stamp connected to the actuator and driven by the actuator, to perform a linear movement in direction to and from the injection mold cavity wall; wherein the heated stamp is located below the base plate and the actuator is located on top of the base plate, and wherein the base plate comprises an opening through which a pin extends for transferring the linear movement from the actuator to the heated stamp.

METHOD FOR EVENLY DISTRIBUTING PLASTIC MELT IN A HOT RUNNER SYSTEM USING STRAIN GAUGES
A hot runner injection molding apparatus, and method of use, is disclosed in which strain gauges are provided in the temperature zones of the hot runner injection molding apparatus and a hot runner controller creates a target strain profile, detects deviations from the target strain profile in any temperature zone based on the strain readings provided by the strain gauges in each temperature zone, and instructs correction of deviations from the target strain profile in any deviating temperature zone by adjusting the heat produced by a heater or heaters in the deviating temperature zone. The target strain profile may be based on a median or average of strain readings provided over time by the strain gauges in each temperature zone. A hollow installation tube for placing the strain gauges in the hot runner injection molding apparatus is also disclosed.

INJECTION MOLDING WITH TARGETED HEATING OF MOLD CAVITIES IN A NON-MOLDING POSITION
Injection molding utilizing targeted heating of mold cavities when in a non-molding position, thereby facilitating enhancement of the appearance and strength of injection molding parts in a manner that does not significantly increase cycle times or energy consumption.
MANUFACTURING METHOD AND INJECTION MOLDING SYSTEM
A method including a first step of performing clamping of a mold, injection and dwelling in an injection molding machine, a second step of performing a conveyance and a cooling of the mold outside of the machine, and a third step of performing a conveyance of the mold into the machine, an opening of the mold and an ejection of a molded part in the machine. The second step is performed for a first mold, the third step and the next first step are performed for a second mold. The first mold is conveyed by a first conveyance apparatus which is arranged on one lateral side of the machine. The second mold is conveyed by a second conveyance apparatus which is arranged on the other lateral side and is independently driven from the first conveyance apparatus.
