MESH-PATTERNED RESIN MOLDED PRODUCT

Provided is a mesh-patterned resin molded product (10) used for encasing and protecting a hollow piping member provided in a vehicle or a small ship. The mesh-patterned resin molded product (10), in a case of an ordinary state where no load is applied to the mesh-patterned resin molded product (10), includes a plurality of first resin wired portions (11) that extend parallel to each other, and a plurality of second resin wired portions (12) that extend parallel to each other in a direction respectively intersecting the first resin wired portions (11). Each of the first resin wired portions (11) and each of the second resin wired portions (12) are joined to each other on a joint portion (13) positioned at a mutual intersection portion. At the intersection portion, a direction passing through both axial centers of the first resin wired portion (11) and the second resin wired portion (12) and being orthogonal to both the axial centers is set as an orthographic projection direction P. When the first resin wired portion (11) and the second resin wired portion (12) are viewed in the orthographic projection direction P, a second surface area that is a surface area of the joint portion (13) between the first resin wired portion (11) and the second resin wired portion (12) is smaller than a first surface area that is an overlapping surface area between the first resin wired portion (11) and the second resin wired portion (12). The plurality of first resin wired portions (11) and the plurality of second resin wired portions (12) are formed of a material including a thermoplastic resin.

Polyamide apparel textile yarns and fabrics and garments made therefrom

An apparel textile yarn includes a polyamide. The polyamide includes a nylon and a polyetheramine. The polyetheramine has a molecular weight of at least 1500 and an Amine Hydrogen Equivalent Weight (AHEW) of less than 10 percent higher than the idealized AHEW for the polyetheramine. The polyamide may have a moisture regain ranging from about 10% to about 30%.

Heat-sealable and peelable polyester film, use thereof and process for production thereof

A transparent, peelable polyester film is provided with clarity greater than 80% including a biaxially oriented polyester film as base layer (B) and an offline coated heat-sealable outer layer (A) that is peelable relative to ready-meal APET or RPET trays. The heat-sealable and peelable outer layer (A) includes from 85 to 99 wt % polyester and from 1 to 15 wt % other substances, the polyester including of from 25 to 95 mol % of units derived from at least one aromatic dicarboxylic acid and from 5 to 75 mol % of units derived from at least one aliphatic dicarboxylic acid. The polyester incorporates at least 10 mol % of units derived from diols having more than 2 carbon atoms. The mass of the dry outer layer (A) is from 1 to 5 g/m.sup.2. Production processes for the foregoing film, and use thereof as scalable film for ready-meal trays is also provided.

Biaxially oriented UV-resistant, single- or multilayer polyester film with at antireflective coating

The present, invention relates to a highly transparent, biaxially oriented, UV-resistant polyester film which has, at least on one side, a coating that reduces reflection of visible light. The. film of the invention is suitable for the production of energy-saving sheet materials for greenhouses, in particular for cultivation of plants with high light requirement, e.g. tomatoes. The film has specific transparency properties and high UV resistance. The invention further relates to a process for the production of the polyester film, and also to use of the film in greenhouses.
