METHOD AND DEVICE FOR PRODUCING A DECORATIVE WALL- OR FLOOR PANEL
The present disclosure relates to a method for producing a decorative wall- or floor panel, having the method steps: • a) providing a melted polymer mass; • b) extruding the molten polymer mass through a nozzle; • c) finish-sizing the molten polymer mass to form a panel-like carrier material by means of an assembly of multiple rotatable rolls, wherein the individual rolls are disposed one above the other or one behind the other and each individual roll forms at least one finish-sizing nip with neighbouring rolls, through which nip the melted polymer mass is passed, and wherein the finishing nip heights can be variably adjusted by a horizontal and/or vertical movement of individual rolls during the production process; • d) applying a decor pattern that imitates a decor template to at least one sub-region of the at least partly finish-sized carrier material, and • e) applying a protective coating to at least one sub-region of the decor.
DIRECT PRINTING ONTO EXTRUDED PVC SLATS
Described is a process and system for direct printing of a decorative pattern onto an extruded PVC slat. The process includes providing a hot extruded PVC slat; directly contacting a surface of the hot extruded PVC slat with a direct printing cylinder as the slat is moved in a downstream direction, where the cylinder has a pattern with a cell structure that receives ink and rotates to directly apply the ink in the form of the pattern onto the surface of the hot extruded PVC slat. The process also includes controlling a temperature of the direct printing cylinder to inhibit drying of the ink while present on the direct printing cylinder.
Method for extruding and labelling a cylindrical product
The method for extruding and labeling a packaging tube comprises the following successive steps: a) forming a partially or totally tubular label from a film in a shaper; b) inserting the label into a calibration element; c) extruding a tubular body at the concave-face side of the label in an extrusion head; d) bringing the outer face of the extruded tubular body into contact with the concave face of the label. In the method, the label comprises at least one layer of which the melting temperature is at least 20° C. higher than the melting temperature of the extruded tubular body. A first pressure difference is formed in the extruded tube with an air jet.
Cascaded self-similar robotic assemblies
A robotic system with an arm assembly that includes: a pedestal, a first member operatively coupled to an opposing end of the pedestal, and a second member operatively coupled to an opposing end of the first member. The robotic system further includes a joint operatively coupled to an opposing end of the second member and at least one phalange assembly operatively coupled to the joint. The at least one phalange assembly includes: a third member operatively coupled to the joint, a fourth member operatively coupled to an opposing end of the third member, and a fifth member operatively coupled to an opposing end of the fourth member. The robotic system further includes an interchangeable manipulator is operatively coupled to the opposing end of the fifth member.
FILM HAVING LIGHT TRANSMITTANCE AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF
The present disclosure relates to a film having light transmittance and a manufacturing method thereof. The film includes a Polyurethane (PU) surface layer, and a thermoplastic elastomer layer. The thermoplastic elastomer layer is disposed under the PU surface layer. The thermoplastic elastomer layer includes color masterbatch material. The color masterbatch material is between 0.1-1% weight. By controlling the amount of color masterbatch material in the thermoplastic elastomer layer, the film of the present disclosure has real color appearance and good light transmittance.

FLEXIBLE PACKAGING MATERIAL
Flexible packaging materials with electrophotographically printed images or information, and processes for preparing such flexible packaging materials are disclosed.
WOVEN IRRIGATION TUBING, APPARATUS AND METHOD OF MAKING SAME
Woven irrigation tubing comprises a woven, extrusion coated & laminated tube formed of a high density polyethylene (HDPE) outer layer, a low density polyethylene (LDPE) middle layer and a linear low density polyethylene (LLDPE) inner layer. The finished tubing is treated for ultraviolet resistance. The tubing is tied off at a distal end with a proximal end connected to a pressurized irrigation source. Watering holes are created in the tubing at spaced intervals and the resulting water streams are directed into parallel plowed furrows. The tubing is completely recyclable. The tubing is formed by manufacturing tape for the woven outer tubing cover, stretching the tape along its length to strengthen it, weaving the outer layer from the tape, flattening the woven outer layer, extrusion coating each surface of the outer layer with LDPE, laminating the LLDPE inner layer to the LDPE, reversing and winding the tubing for storage and distribution.
