METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING BY STRETCH BLOW MOLDING OF A CONTAINER AT HIGH STRETCHING SPEED
Disclosed is a method for manufacturing a container by stretch blow molding starting from a preform made of plastic material within a forming unit that includes: a mold that is provided with a side wall and a mold bottom having the impression, jointly, of the container; and a stretching rod that is mounted to move in translation in relation to the mold between an upper position and a lower position. The method includes: a pre-blow-molding phase during which a fluid with a pre-blow-molding pressure is injected into the preform, and the rod is moved from its upper position to its lower position with a maximum travel speed of greater than or equal to 2.5 m/s.
Stretch rod for inflating a preform
A stretch rod for blowing a preform into a container is disclosed. The stretch rod includes a hollow, cylindrical body that is made of metal, a first plurality of apertures, and a second plurality of apertures. The body of the stretch rod includes a handle pocket zone with the first plurality of apertures and an optional zone disposed on the stretch rod below the handle pocket zone, the optional zone including the second plurality of apertures. Compressed air is blown through the first plurality of apertures and the second plurality of apertures of the stretch rod to form the blown container.

A stretch rod for blowing a preform into a container is disclosed. The stretch rod includes a hollow, cylindrical body that is made of metal, a first plurality of apertures, and a second plurality of apertures. The body of the stretch rod includes a handle pocket zone with the first plurality of apertures and an optional zone disposed on the stretch rod below the handle pocket zone, the optional zone including the second plurality of apertures. Compressed air is blown through the first plurality of apertures and the second plurality of apertures of the stretch rod to form the blown container.

The invention relates to a method for producing a container (2) filled with a liquid product in which a preform (1) consisting of a thermoplastic material is stretched after a thermal conditioning with a stretching rod (11) and is shaped in an inflation process to the container (2), wherein the inflation process comprises a pre-blowing phase in which a fluid of a first pressure level is used for the inflation, and comprises a main blowing phase in which a fluid of a second pressure level that is greater than the first pressure level is used for the inflation and is characterized in that the fluid used in the pre-blowing phase is a blowing gas and that the fluid used in the main blowing phase is the product. Furthermore, the invention relates to a device for carrying out a method according to the invention.

Method and apparatus for packaging a liquid food product
An apparatus for forming a thermoplastic container from a cylindrical preform and for delivering a predetermined volume of a beverage component into the container. The apparatus includes: a mold defining a shape of the container; a member configured to inject at least one beverage component into a recess in the preform so as to promote expansion of the preform inside the mold into the shape of the container, the member being further configured to inject the at least one beverage component in a first volume intentionally greater than the predetermined volume; and the member also being configured to remove a fraction of the first volume of the beverage component until a second volume of beverage component remaining in the container is equal to the predetermined volume.
Method of forming and setting headspace within a container
A method for forming and filling a container with liquid. The container being formed from a preform located within a mold and the method utilizing a hydraulic blow molding device that is coupled to a source of the liquid, which is used as the blow molding medium. The hydraulic blow molding device has a blow nozzle and a member that is extended from a retracted position to a position within the preform. A blow nozzle engages in fluid tight communication with an open end of the preform so as to provide a sealing engagement of the blow nozzle with the preform. The liquid blow medium is injected into the preform so as to form the container after sealing engagement of the blow nozzle with the preform. The member initiates its advancement into the preform prior to the time of sealing engagement of the blow nozzle with the preform.
