MOLDING METHOD AND MOLDING APPARATUS FOR RESIN MOLDED ARTICLE
A molding method for a resin molded article includes: a step of sandwiching a sheet-shaped resin in a molten state extruded downward by a pair of rollers, and sending out downward the sheet-shaped resin in the molten state by a rotational driving of the rollers so as to allow a first stretching; a step of drawing downward the sheet-shaped resin in the molten state sent out downward so as to allow a second stretching; a step of disposing the sheet-shaped resin in the molten state that is drawn in a side portion of a mold disposed below the pair of rollers; and a step of molding the sheet-shaped resin into a shape conforming to a mold shape by depressurizing a sealed space formed between the sheet-shaped resin in the molten state and the mold and/or pressurizing the sheet-shaped resin toward the mold.
Container production method
A container production method including a preform setup step of disposing a preform in a blow molding mold and engaging a filling nozzle with a mouth of the preform; a blow molding step of liquid blow molding the preform by supplying a pressurized liquid into the preform; a liquid discharge step of releasing the blow molding mold and pressing a trunk of the container after molding with a pressing portion that is inserted from a clearance between separated mold pieces adjacent to each other to discharge a liquid in the container to the outside of the container by a predetermined amount; and a headspace forming step of forming a headspace in the container by separating the filling nozzle from a mouth of the container.
Method for manufacturing a thermoplastic container and system for pulling a tube apart
A method for manufacturing a thermoplastic container may include locally heating a middle zone of a thermoplastic tube; gripping the tube on either side by using retaining members; pulling the tube apart, causing a middle zone to narrow; pushing the inner wall of the middle zone against each other to obtain a closure; and cutting through the closed-off middle zone to obtain two separate tubular parts. Further is provided a system for pulling apart a tube, the system may include a first retaining member which is provided for insertion into the first zone via the first end and a second retaining member provided for insertion into the second zone via the second end, each retaining member being adjustable between a first position in which the retaining member fits inside the tube and a second position in which, in use, the retaining member exerts a pressure on the inner wall of the tube.
Plural blow molding with servo controls
A system for forming a container from a preform includes a first mold having a plurality of first portions that cooperate to define a first internal surface against which the preform is blown for forming a first form. The system also includes a second mold having a plurality of second portions that cooperate to define a second internal surface against which the first form is blown for forming a second form. Also, the system includes a mold servo motor that actuates the plurality of first portions relative to each other and/or actuates the plurality of second portions relative to each other. Furthermore, the system includes a controller that controls the mold servo motor for controlled actuation of the plurality of first portions and/or the plurality of second portions.
Counter stretch connecting rod and positive fill level control rod
A mold device and a method related thereto for forming a plastic container from a preform. The mold device comprises a mold defining a mold cavity, an optional stretch initiation rod system for engaging an interior portion of the preform to define a stretch initiation area, and a centrally disposed pressure source positionable within the preform for introducing a pressurized fluid.

ELECTRIC HEATED BASE FOR CONTAINER BLOW-MOLDING DEVICE
A device for blow molding a container from a preform. The device includes a mold base and a pedestal for supporting the mold base. An electric heating element is beneath the mold base for heating the mold base. An insulator is between the heating element and the pedestal.
Method and device for producing and filling containers
An apparatus for transforming a preform into a container filled with liquid filling material includes a mold that forms a mold head, a sterilization system, a chamber that is common to a group of mold heads, an evacuation system that is connected to the chamber, and conduit lines, each of which connects a mold head to the chamber. The sterilization system sterilizes the interior of the preform while it is in sealing engagement with the mold head. The evacuation system creates a vacuum in the preform. Liquid filling material enters the preform under pressure and causes it to transform into a container.
DOUBLE-WALLED CONTAINER
A method and apparatus for the formation of double-walled containers with the structure of two integrally connected and adjacent containers extending in the same direction with an air gap between them, stretch-blow moulded as single bodies out of thermoplastic material, and suitable for mass-production. A thermoplastic tubular blank is formed and then heat-conditioned. The heat-conditioned tubular blank is then mechanically stretched longitudinally and blow-formed outwards by gas pressure to conformingly and stretchingly assume the tubular blank to the shape of a first dual-container shaped mould cavity set in order to form a stretch-blow moulded first container integrally connected to a second container, with both containers extending in opposite directions. Next, additional heat-conditioning is applied to further heat-condition as necessary the stretch-blow moulded second container and if deemed an advantage, at least part of the first container. Then at least one profiled inversion piston and a second dual-container shaped mould cavity set are provided along with one or more wall stability devices applied to at least part of the wall surface(s) of either or both of the two integrally connected stretch-blow moulded containers, such that the second container side wall(s) may be inverted at least partially inside-out, while at the same time the second container bottom wall at least substantially does not invert, in order for the second container to become a substantially mirror-image inverted second container extending in the same direction as the first container, and an air gap is formed between the first container and second container.
