A molded article supply apparatus is provided in a transport device 30 having transport members 20 on which molded articles 1 having mouths 2 are held in an inverted state, with the mouths 2 facing downward, and which are provided with rod members 22 to be inserted into the molded articles 1; and a transport path 31 on which the transport members 20 are continuously transported. The molded article supply apparatus comprises a supply unit 110 disposed above the transport path 31, for holding the molded articles 1 at predetermined intervals and lowering the molded articles 1, while transporting the molded articles 1 in synchronization with movement of the transport members 20, to supply the molded articles 1 to the transport members 20.

There is provided a cooling mold for cooling a resin preform that has a gate portion protruding outward from a center of a bottom portion, in which an accommodating space that accommodates the preform is formed in the cooling mold, a bottom region facing the bottom portion of the preform in the accommodating space has a shape following the bottom portion of the preform, and an air sucking hole for sucking air is formed in the bottom region at a position shifted from the center of the bottom portion of the preform.

A branch of a clamp for handling hollow bodies in a plant manufacturing containers made of plastic material, the handling clamp comprising two branches intended to be held by a holding member and being intended to grip a hollow body, the branch comprising a base, and a jaw extending from the base. The base has a front edge intended to be in contact with the hollow bodies. The branch is formed by a metal core extending in the jaw set back from the front edge, and a plastic supplement at least partially covering the metal core, the plastic supplement constituting at least the front edge and being secured to the metal core.

An apparatus for molding a handle-equipped container is provided. The apparatus has a gripping mechanism section 160a which comprises a first gripping member 161 having a pair of first chuck members 163 for grasping a preform 200, and a second gripping member 162 having a pair of second chuck members 167 for grasping a container handle 20 in association with the action of the first gripping member 161. The apparatus can simultaneously grasp a plurality of the preforms 200 and a plurality of the container handles 20 and reliably transport them to a blow molding section.

A rotary machine includes a main axis, a plurality of first stations and a plurality of second stations. Each first station rotates around the main axis and applies a first process to a container. Each second station rotates around the main axis and applies a second process to a processed container. The machine also includes an internal exit position, at which each first station is located once the first station has completed the first process and that is arranged to release the processed container. At an internal entry position, each second station is arranged to receive the released processed container. At least one transfer arm is adapted to seize a processed container and move the processed container between a first station located at the internal exit position and a second station located at the internal entry position.

A molded article supply apparatus is provided in a transport device 30 having transport members 20 on which molded articles 1 having mouths 2 are held in an inverted state, with the mouths 2 facing downward, and which are provided with rod members 22 to be inserted into the molded articles 1; and a transport path 31 on which the transport members 20 are continuously transported. The molded article supply apparatus comprises a supply unit 110 disposed above the transport path 31, for holding the molded articles 1 at predetermined intervals and lowering the molded articles 1, while transporting the molded articles 1 in synchronization with movement of the transport members 20, to supply the molded articles 1 to the transport members 20.

A rotary machine includes a main axis, a plurality of first stations and a plurality of second stations. Each first station rotates around the main axis and applies a first process to a container. Each second station rotates around the main axis and applies a second process to a processed container. The machine also includes an internal exit position, at which each first station is located once the first station has completed the first process and that is arranged to release the processed container. At an internal entry position, each second station is arranged to receive the released processed container. At least one transfer arm is adapted to seize a processed container and move the processed container between a first station located at the internal exit position and a second station located at the internal entry position.

In the accommodating space, a region facing a body portion of the perform and a bottom region facing the bottom portion of the perform are formed as a single member.

A branch of a clamp for handling hollow bodies in a plant manufacturing containers made of plastic material, the handling clamp comprising two branches intended to be held by a holding member and being intended to grip a hollow body, the branch comprising a base, and a jaw extending from the base. The base has a front edge intended to be in contact with the hollow bodies. The branch is formed by a metal core extending in the jaw set back from the front edge, and a plastic supplement at least partially covering the metal core, the plastic supplement constituting at least the front edge and being secured to the metal core.

An apparatus for treating piece goods has a transport device for transporting the goods and at least one application device for sterilizing the goods that are transported by the transport device, to sterilize them with radiation and/or to apply a flowable sterilization agent. The transport device has a first transport unit rotatable with respect to an axis of rotation which has a plurality of first holding devices for holding the goods. The transport device has a second transport unit rotatable with respect to the axis of rotation which has a plurality of second holding devices, each arranged in a second level perpendicular with respect to the axis of rotation. The transport device has at least one first lifting device for displacing a predetermined first portion of the first holding devices with respect to a predetermined second portion of the first holding devices in the direction of the axis of rotation.
