The apparatus can simultaneously grasp a plurality of the preforms 200 and a plurality of the container handles 20 and reliably transport them to a blow molding section.

The control elements are disposed in such a way that, during operation the control elements are interengaged without contact during the rotary movement of the rotary elements and that, in the event of a fault, the control elements are interengaged with contact.
